- Hi everyone! Here's my transcription of Carl Fontana's trombone solo on "There Will Never Be Another You" from Volume 6 of the Conte Candoli Carl Fontana Quintet's Phoenix Recordings. I think it's a beautiful solo with great melodic content. I did have to approximate some of the rhythms. Hope you enjoy!

Amazing, I think this might be the most thoughtful I ever heard Carl on a solo. Really developing his themes , putting lots of care into his melodic genius and not going all out on the doodle phrases.
