Love the honest no frills approach to all jobs you do. When its a pain or not going well your not afraid to show it. You really help to show this process can be done even for those with basic knowledge.
Great job again guys well done ,i was going to suggest mud flaps to protect the gas inlet but i see someone beet me to it , but your getting there will be amazing once its done anf you can enjoy your new life and adventures with your great kids 👍
Working under the van is just a nightmare! 😁 We have spend nearly whole day underneath cleaning the chassis and undersealing it and we can’t even think about doing that job again ! 😬😅😅
Great vlogs bud 👌 u should get a set of mud flaps especially on the rear and it should stop the bulk of road debris away. I fitted ‘ rally flapz’ on my crafter and they are brilliant . Keep the vids coming 🤙
Hi grt too see you back ; couldn’t you have fitted the red tank before the floor went down ? 😇🤦🏻♂️ Making life easier… grt to see progress though. 🏴
Hi. Yeah that would have been a better idea wouldn't it 😂. Sadly I didn't know we were having gas when I did the floor. I was planning all electric 🤦. But plans change daily on this project
Great work i seen most people just pull the insulation apart with there hands i have a top tip as well when come to carpeting anywhere and you need to cut/trim it use a soldering iron in stead of a knife or scissor as give you a cleaner cut with very little effort 👍
It should be mounted on the step really as you have pointed out it will get covered in crap and put the regulator also somewhere it won't get covered in crap
Good call on going gas.....we have a 60L underslung that runs the fridge, boiler, heating and cooker.....lasts for ages, autogas is super cheap and the batteries last forever with the other stuff (i only have 100ah usable to run pump, laptop & lights etc).....I went down the all gas route rather than the current fashion of all electric.....and glad I did! ps, you can do the hose from valve in ptfe coated copper solid hose.....I put a remote isolator before the regulator just under the cill so it's easier to completely isolate the tank for ferry and eurotunnel requiremnts (and lower risk of hose issues as they perish after 5-8 years).....and as someone else said, those covers just love to come off....i used a safety wire (caravan type off amazon)..... .great to see the van coming on 😀
Ps, the guys at autogas 2000 are ace and great for advice (and will make sure its all to insurance standard)....i got them to do the commissioning cert which was great for when i came to registering etc, worth asking them to install a recessed autogas access port on the back quarter cill, really neat and simple to install (with a hole saw).
Great video, but you should work with safety glasses when drilling over you: I hope you still gonna have two serviceable eyes by the end of the project.

Thank you so much. Yeah we're getting there. Lot more to do but every day we shave a bit off!

I hear you. It's not a pleasant place to be. Especially when you're getting older and it's such a mission to get out again if you forget a tool!

Hi. Thanks for the comment. Yeah a couple of people have suggested that. I'll look at it. I may also look making some sort of cover plate

Hey. Thanks very much. Great tip. I've actually seen this recently on true blue travellers. Will certainly give it a go. Cheers 👍😁

Ah. Interesting idea. Cheers
It should be mounted on the step really as you have pointed out it will get covered in crap and put the regulator also somewhere it won't get covered in crap

Hi. Thanks for the concern. You are so right. I always wore them at work but not on the van for some reason 🤦. I'll get a new pair. Thanks
i used a straightedge and a snap-off bladed knife. be careful though !
Months later and now we just rip it if we need some😂
I use a bacho insulation saw
Really? I'll have a look at that. Cheers
