I have always adored The Blue Angels. They are awesome.
My high school was right next door to the stennis airport so during my senior year they had an air show in the area and were practicing over my school. It was right after finals so my teacher decided to give us a break and allowed us to spend the entire period sitting outside and watching them. One of them accidentally flew too low and nearly shattered the schools windows at one point. It was an absolutely incredible sight to get to watch them practice though

This is such an awesome perspective. This is exactly what it looks like flying down Perdido Beach and Orange Beach.
I’ve done this a time or two at the same altitude and at 300 knots. My wife and I lived on Perdido Beach and saw the Blues flying down the beach after returning from their Airshows on the weekends. So freakin cool. Thank you “Blues”.

When i was in A school in Pensacola id see them flying over everyday. A running joke amongst us was when you see blue angels flying you have to double salute them

My one wish while in the AF was to get to ride along with one of the pilots, but they did away with that program. This video is absolutely mesmerizing!

When my grandpa was in the marines and wanted to be a pilot. He had to land on a marine base and was still a rookie and didn’t know how to land. He told the control tower and the control tower said he would send someone up to help him land. A while later, the blue angles appeared and did a maneuver before they landed. My grandpa thought the maneuver would be easy and that’s how he found out he had vertigo. RIP Grandpa

At first I was bummed because there was no cockpit audio. But the lack of it actually made it more serene. It’s kinda funny to associate that word with a Hornet.

Looks cool but how many millions of dollars does it cost to fly this? Why would they need to do this? There is a huge homeless rate in America right now and some of that millions of dollars could help keep people in their homes considering that we have people dying from heat waves because they are unhoused

I'm a warplane nut, and extremely phobic of flying. But even though I may pass out from the sheer G Force, I would be so honored and excited to get to fly with a Blue Angel pilot just once. I used to live in the mountains of Colorado above Colorado Springs in Florissant and would sit out in my yard every single day watching all the guys go out for their canyon runs. Just the sound of the thunderous roar as f-22's etc would fly over my property would send chills down my spine every single time. The Angels are the best of the best though! Can't wait to get back down to Pensacola to watch these guys practice again soon.
