@@thehahvokexperience I still want that Michael vs Chucky crossover they teased. Think about it: the two Illinois slashers going after each other. It could start with Dr Loomis interested in Andy and that lures Michael and Chucky wants Andy dead so that would be the perfect meetup
What they need to do is keep the original Halloween canon, but with this new TV series, they should make it that Judith Myers and her mom and dad faked Judith’s death. That night, when Michael stabbed her, while in the hospital Judith’s and Michael’s parents decide to fake Judith‘s death and leave Michael in an asylum for the state to take care of him. Then 20 years later while Michael is in the asylum, he overhears one of the nurses say that she found a file where it said that Judith‘s death was faked and she’s still alive. Then we can get a whole series and a movie with Michael, actually going after the Myers family. The name of the series should be “The Myers”.
The death wouldn't even need to be faked, Michael would probably just think she died and was never corrected while locked away, so when he hears her name mentioned(maybe a family member finally tells him while visiting), he breaks out to finish the job.
I would love it if Michael attacks Judith, their parents get home and try to intervene, only for the parents to die. Judith only finds out when she’s in the hospital, and Michael is sent to Smith’s Grove. Having Judith as the main character would be super cool!
I keep saying this, and I will continue to say it. Then from there you bring all new characters, and you completely change the narrative elements of the story. I 100 percent agree. Probably my only biggest issue with Halloween 2's reboot was they made Loomis a heel. I think Loomis is the heart of these movies.
When it comes to Sidney, it's mind over muscle. Just because Michael is supernatural doesn't mean he has the advantage over Sidney. How do think she can take out Ghostface? Not because he or she is human but because she's very intelligent. Mind over muscle.

That would be hilarious. Laurie is in a retirement home, Barely clinging to her sanity with dementia. She wanders around Haddonfield trying to escape Michael as he chases her with a walker because all his injuries over the years have caught up to him.

I feel like the “Halloween” tv series can work if they maintain the atmosphere of the original. Everyone has their opinion about Halloween 2018, but it has a great atmosphere and tension 😊
I would go one of two ways, either go with Danielle Harris as Jamie returning again and say that the Jamie we saw in Halloween 6 was an imposter that the cult Thorn brought in to trick Michael because they couldn’t find the original Jamie. She goes about and finds her brother she didn’t know she had, John, Josh Hartnett’s character and have them lead the new movie with Michael chasing them. You connect H20 and the Thorn trilogy to the main timeline. Second idea is connect Halloween 3 with the main timeline and Michael’s mask is actually a Silver Shamrock mask and we find out that it’s the source of evil for Michael.
I think they should had kept the original idea of Laurie being Micheal’s sister who he was trying to unalive. But I like the idea of Judith is the only survivor after Micheal unalive his entire family and then Myers gets out to go after her again. 🤷♂️
You can have a young Laurie like 10 year old Laurie in small role where she pops up here and there. She is from the neighborhood. Base the story around Judith where she barely survives the attack from Michael and Loomis is obviously a big part of the story along with Judith. They can show young Linda’s Annie’s etc. so much potential
Your idea for an alternate timeline where Judith survives is definitely interesting, but I feel like there’s a lot of people that are gonna have an issue with that. Idk about how the current fanbase feels about it but I know there’s still a great number of fans that feel like making Michael and Laurie related ruined the character since it gave him a motive for doing what he does. Making him less scary than when we didn’t know why he was mindlessly killing people. I’ve always been torn on that myself, as I do feel like Michael is scarier the less we know about him, but that rivalry between him and Laurie is just so fun to watch that it kinda makes up for it.
No bro They aren’t spinning out after the first movie like every other adaptation. It’s gonna be a new creative process BEING “The first movie” of Halloween, literally going back to the roots, the beginning
I’m down for JLC to come back as a Legacy character different from Laurie strode I could absolutely see her as a mother, a teacher, or even a much more interesting version of a nurse looking after Michael
I definitely think the Halloween movies have ran it’s course. But I would be thrilled for another one. God knows how many more years it’ll be for a Friday the 13th movie.
I just love Michael Myers so much that I’m down for anything. So I wouldn’t necessarily call this disappointing news. Just the fact that there’s not enough news is disappointing. I love your concept with Judith tho Chris!
They should do a tv show where each episode or season is a different story kind of like how the original idea for the films was to be an anthology. Of course the normal Myers story is still in it but it could also have the season of the witch plot re told
Just pick up where Resurrection left off and give us a legendary Michael where he’s mythic at this point and has killed hundreds of people. You don’t have to create a new formula.
They should do the Rob zombie approach as far as showing the childhood (with less hillbilly) kills sister or parents by the halfway point movie ends with him escaping the institution setting up part 2
I hope by "going back to the original film" they moreso mean that they'll Remake the Original film using its foundation(hopefully not pulling a The Strangers Remake, but something closer to the Friday The 13th Reboot). Same Michael Origin, some of the same characters(mostly Loomis), and a mostly similar plot, but have it take closer to modern day(maybe not the 2020's, but something like the early 2010's). They could have a new Laurie Strode, or a completely new character taking that role, and have Jamie Lee Curtus play Michael's and/or the new Laurie's/new Character's Mom(or Grandma).
All they need to do is say the original film is canon, but instead of 78 it took place "last year." Now you have a young Michael and can do whatever you want and don't have to waste time on a reboot/origin film. For the opening credits they could even have reshoots of "H1" in modern times, so like for example, a ring camera shows Laurie running from Michael in the street, maybe one of the victims was live on their phone when Michael got them and we see that, etc.
I would like to see a 6 part - 3 series of Halloween 4 5 and 6. Remade but still in the 80s and 90s. Remove the cult stuff and make them there own. They could have flashbacks to Halloween 1&2.
How about they focus on the Jaime character, bring back Daniel Harris. I think they make a sequel starting from Halloween 1-5. Retcon 6, even though I really enjoyed Curse of Michael Myers’s. Seeing Danielle Harris and Jaime Lloyd would be epic.
I don't wanna be done with Laurie Strode, but I more so wanna be done with Jamie Lee Curtis. Just like the Rob Zombie movies another actress could take the role of Laurie and do her own thing in a reboot.
@3cfilms I think it would be a good idea for the battle of the movie to be Judith vs Michael. Like it’s Judith and her friends that Michael is after.. and then perhaps bites it in the end.
This is what I want from a new Halloween: bring back the mystery of Michael. Make him scary and brutal, but in a more subtle way. No Laurie, but make it Loomis vs Michael. Maybe explore the nature of Michael, but don’t explain why he is the embodiment of evil outright, just elude to things that fans can theorize about.
I’d start it right after 1978 - except Michael not only gets away, he ditches town. Forget Haddonfield, he hitchhikes to an even bigger metro area: Chicago, where the snow has just started falling. Instead of following any traditional character, we follow Michael as he stalks and kills, all the while Dr Loomis and the police are the antagonists as the manhunt closes in on Michael. It’d give us something different and the silent aspect of Michael’s character would force the filmmakers to creativity
Honestly man it’s probably gonna be Tommy and Lindsay and their friends as they get a little older. It gives Michael a new group of teens to pick off one by one. Laurie Strode will have left Haddonfield by that point so you don’t have to worry about her character for a while. I doubt they’re going to retcon Judith’s death since it was such a huge part of the first movie. Edit: this is *if* they don’t do Loomis. I’m hoping they don’t because I just don’t care about his beginnings and Michael as a kid is not scary
They could pick it up after H20 and have Michael chasing John around. I mean Hartnett is still young enough to make some movies. Or even Jamie or Judith Meyers survives and could be the focus.
They should do episodes closing out timelines without proper endings. Like Halloween 6 with Kara, Halloween 4, and 3. They should continue an anthology.
Her getting killed and Michael walking off into the shadows towards the woods that's how it should've ended it's his franchise not Jaime Lee old hag Curtis Halloween and Micha made her not the other way around so f her we don't need her to ruin it so e More
My personal opinion is we should get an anthology series. Season one we learn about Michael Myers and after he dies in the hospital fire season ends. Next season is season of the witch. Next season is the Thorne cult which has been pulling the strings and unleashing the evil in Haddonfield for years. It would be a cool way to connect all of the story lines into one and allow for some new stories.
As long as Blumhouse has it, it’s going to be bad. I’d like to see an A24 take on Michael Myers. I’d like to see the setting return to the 1970s again.
Yep I’d have to agree with you man, I think we need to move on from Laurie. Really I think if they want it to be the most successful, I say they pick it up after the first film again and figure out a time where Michael’s going to get away for a chance to do his thing. And they need to make him still look like Michael Myers and act like Michael Myers in that 78/81/18/21 style. And when I say that I don’t mean exactly like that, but along the lines. Like they did a great job with the flashback look in Kills and I thought they did a pretty good job with the Blumhouse series look. Combine that look to something like the original 78/81 look and I think you’d have a winner that people will be happy with. Then all we need is a good story and Michael doing his thing and it’s gonna make money and people are gonna want more.
I want a reset from Day one. Keep Michael and cast a SOLID Dr Loomis. We have explored Laurie and Michael to death but there is such a dynamic I feel in a doctor obsessed with his greatest failure going after his "Frankenstein's Monster" trying to stop him. That is a decades long arc that was never explored as much as it could have been and never had a satisfactory ending in any of the series. A TV show on that with long term character development could be a great idea. Incorporate a new "victim" like Laurie but not actual Laurie.
People would rather have Heather Langenkamp return for a soft reboot of a Nightmare on Elm Street to have a final showdown with Robert England’s Freddy. But then again that was what New Nightmare technically did already. Also Robert is way too old and he personally thinks they should move on from his version and just recast. Maybe instead of doing a direct sequel to 1, they should do a direct sequel to Nightmare 2 and have Mark Patton and Kira Myers reprise their roles as Jesse and Lisa returning to help protect a new generation of kids from Freddy Krueger. Maybe have it also a direct sequel to Dream Warriors and have them two team up with Kristen, Joey, and Kincaid who also are grown up and return to Elm Street to protect next generation from Krueger. You could maybe still have Robert in the film but probably as a different character like he did in part 4 as a nurse. Maybe he could still do Freddy’s voice and a stunt guy does the physical appearance. Idk
The Laurie story is done. Need to pick up from the 1978 film focus on the effects of that night it had on its survivors. Loomis and Brackett be the focus, plus add néw characters around them. Use the Halloween Returns concept as a story plot device.
If they’re making a TV series, it will be illegal, not to have an episode where it talks about Michael life in Smith Grove as a kid I really would want that in the series❤❤❤
Honestly i think they should do a prequel i know a lot of people dont like prequels but i think it would be cool seeing a tv show about a kod/teen-age Michael going from the stabbing to living in the asylum there are comocs that explain he kills other kods and people in the asylum they should take inspiration from that
I can see this working ONLY if you give her a minor role. My suggestion would be to have her be the opening kill in a scene similar to Scream. Maybe make the main protagonist be in a similar position as Jamie Lloyd from Halloween 4 by giving her a new type of connection to Michael specific to the new main character. Doesn’t need to be a relative, maybe the protagonist lives in a newly-renovated Myers House or something. Also, revert Michael back to his pre-Blumhouse self and have Michael be pure evil so much so that his darkness within him keeps him going to a NEAR inhuman level. Keep him human, just make him EXTREMELY RESILIANT to explain why someone like Laurie (in the intro) is old looking but Michael is still in the same condition as a middle aged man.
Slashers were better when they weren’t AVENGERS TEAMUP REVENGE ON MICHAEL MYERS/GHOSTFACE/CHUCKY type movies. I want oldschool friday the 13 type formula
The Friday movies are just bad by today’s standards, I’m sorry. They’re important for basically moulding the fundamental roles/cliches of slasher films, but the franchise has never been genuinely ‘good’ like Halloween, Texas and Elm street were. The only way to make a movie like that fun nowadays would to be, modifying it like the Terrifier sequels.
@ i agree. but i mean anyone was hunted in those movies. and there was never 80 + victims showing up in the sequels teaming up to take down Jason. what i meant is i prefer a standalone story i suppose, excluding scream 1-3, those made sense.
@@lucasJohnGillespieI actually loved the Friday reboot but they stopped that right away. He was a monster in that and it was pretty decent for a slasher flick.
They should go the Saw route with Halloween and do a sequel that takes place in between parts 1 and 2. Bring back Jamie Lee Curtis as a teenager and expect everyone to suspend disbelief about her age. As for Loomis, do the fake Shemp route and just film a double from behind.
I consider Halloween 1&2 to be one film I thought they connected very well. Hopefully they play off of both of them and Michael was “dead” at the end and comes back or they could do something similar to Halloween 4. But just with better execution.
Also Myers still kills random people for no reason even when he has bloodline motivation. Besides people standing in his way, he still killed other people who had nothing to do with Laurie such as that girl in Halloween 2 during beginning of the movie. He’s still the shape. It’s just that he likes to prioritize bigger sport first before going to lesser prey. Thus why he targets family members to give him a challenge. Because it’s too easy to just go from door to door killing randomly. That’s my theory. But yeah he definitely still occasionally likes to kill randomly while he’s on his way to tracking his bigger targets because it’s like appetizers before the main course. Michael is still shape even if Laurie is his sister.
Many just badly wanted a reason for his killing. He has a child mind and just fixated on Laurie and her friends. In the 2018 movie he didn't care about her, the Doctor is the one that sent him to her. He was killing many people before that.
Do a Loomis focused film thats like a soft reboot to the original. Have it be a similar story where michael breaks out of the penitentiary and goes to haddonfield to kill. But have it be focused on a slightly younger version of Loomis trying to stop michael with the help of sheriff brackett. Like a detective, noir, thriller horror almost.
Sidney Prescott and Laurie Strode are the most iconic Final girls in horror slasher history. Laurie is the original final girl while Sidney is the ultimate final girl. A movie based on those two alone battling Ghostface and Michael Myers (the two most iconic slasher villians) would definitely sell tickets.
I'm thinking the story should be where we are obviously set on Haddonfield we follow a group of new kids that live in Haddonfield, Michael Myers is still out there roaming the land somewhere doing something and arrives on Halloween to kill and stalks our group of characters one by one kills them and then eventually colmbinates into a final fight to where eventually the main character kills Michael and then like in the first movie he gets up and walks off and then next season we follow a new character and group of teens each season the connecting drive through point being Michael showing up and killing and then also you could incorporate elements and flashbacks of Michael's childhood how it was like with hus family and such before he killed his sister.
I think they should focus on a completely new character for a final girl if they decide to reboot it. Move away from Laurie and move away from the Myers family.
I feel like to would be cool to have Judith live and have Lori which is with her in the series but this time Judith is more of the main character then Lori but she’s with Judith throughout it
I personally enjoy the sequel trilogy and Halloween Ends was closure for Laurie and the story of her and Michael. I liked the finale and true ending. Wish they would leave it to stand and breathe.
"it's always Halloween on this channel"
what a mood
Right? Love bro for that…. I feel sort of down once Halloween season ends but I love that he’s in the mood all the time.
@ for real man. i always say 'it's ALWAYS Halloween for us horror fanatics'
If they do a Loomis show, Micheal's Parent's or mom could be a character in it for sure.
If they did a direct sequel to Halloween 4 it would make more sense to do another soft reboot.
That would make thereboot apart of that old timeline.

"I just don't like family" 😂
All they need to do is say the original film is canon, but instead of 78 it took place "last year." Now you have a young Michael and can do whatever you want and don't have to waste time on a reboot/origin film. For the opening credits they could even have reshoots of "H1" in modern times, so like for example, a ring camera shows Laurie running from Michael in the street, maybe one of the victims was live on their phone when Michael got them and we see that, etc.
This Halloween should take place after Halloween 4 with Jamie Loyd and give her character a proper send off unlike 5&6
I would like to see a 6 part - 3 series of Halloween 4 5 and 6. Remade but still in the 80s and 90s. Remove the cult stuff and make them there own. They could have flashbacks to Halloween 1&2.
Honestly love the idea of Judith being the main character of the franchise
But it doesn't make sense because she died in the early years of Michael. Unless they decided to go far back into the history of the family
@ I mean like a remake that would have her be a survivor who is chased by Michael
I would love to see Jamie Lloyd again
Me too. As well as Rachel.
How about they focus on the Jaime character, bring back Daniel Harris. I think they make a sequel starting from Halloween 1-5. Retcon 6, even though I really enjoyed Curse of Michael Myers’s. Seeing Danielle Harris and Jaime Lloyd would be epic.
Maybe she could be this universes Dr. Loomis!
Id love the tv seties to link halloween 2 and 4 with Michael going on a rampage within Smiths Grove
Check out The Haddonfield Nightmare
@@greggiewestside9215 will do thx
I think the Halloween franchise should follow the after math of Halloween resurrection
They should do episodes closing out timelines without proper endings. Like Halloween 6 with Kara, Halloween 4, and 3. They should continue an anthology.
Yeah i always wanted to see those timelines getting a proper ending
Even Resurrection lol
I wouldn't mind JLC coming back just one more time and giving us the movie that Ends should have been!
If use Laurie's story again they should bring back Scout Taylor Compton as Laurie!! Her as Laurie is so severely underrated!!! It's time!!
I agree it is.
Idk
They tried to recast but Robert is so iconic that it’s hard to find a good replacement.
@ exactly so don’t make another elm street.
I think Jamie Lee Curtis would be good if is played as a whole different role and who would appear as recurring character
I wish people still celebrated Halloween like Christmas like it used to be. Damn the new generation and their false sense of just about EVERYTHING
I am ready for a michael myers vs. jason voorhees movie
Let the Halloween franchise rest for a good 5-10 years ..
Bro what movie are you talking about? The only big horror crossover that’s happened was Freddy vs Jason and that came out like 20 years ago
These have been a thing since the Universal monsters THIS ISNR NEW
@@lucasJohnGillespieI actually loved the Friday reboot but they stopped that right away. He was a monster in that and it was pretty decent for a slasher flick.
You Can't Kill The Boogeyman and The '78 Slasher are both very good additions to the original.
They should go the Saw route with Halloween and do a sequel that takes place in between parts 1 and 2. Bring back Jamie Lee Curtis as a teenager and expect everyone to suspend disbelief about her age. As for Loomis, do the fake Shemp route and just film a double from behind.
Laurie and Michael almost always have the same expected outcome, it'd be nice to move on at this point
@@kicknowledgesmith8608 so therefore he’s the shape.
Do a Loomis focused film thats like a soft reboot to the original. Have it be a similar story where michael breaks out of the penitentiary and goes to haddonfield to kill. But have it be focused on a slightly younger version of Loomis trying to stop michael with the help of sheriff brackett. Like a detective, noir, thriller horror almost.
i wish they could do a timeline where they took the ending of halloween 4 and jamie goes around killijg people with micheal
They should "What If" this like Marvel. What if, Judith became the final girl instead of Laurie
I have a very thin fan theory that connects all of the Halloween series (with the exception of Rob Zombie’s two movies).
Sid and Laurie and vs maichel and ghost face fight lol😅
Sidney Prescott and Laurie Strode are the most iconic Final girls in horror slasher history. Laurie is the original final girl while Sidney is the ultimate final girl. A movie based on those two alone battling Ghostface and Michael Myers (the two most iconic slasher villians) would definitely sell tickets.
In what world is Laurie Strode the original final girl
The last thing Halloween needs is another Michael vs Laurie movie, she won, her comeback is over with. Let them tell new stories for god sake
@@smarties9865Since 1978.
@@Gideon13397 do you know what original means?
They both trash
I want weird Halloween back. Not Busta Rhymes running a reality TV show weird, but like idk something interesting
Can we please just get a proper continuation to Jamie’s storyline
We still need the epic fight with Jason and Michael
It think they do something similar to the Scream TV Series
Why not see Michael Myers in Hell.
Hell would kick him out
What would you even do😂
@@Da_doggo104 See Michael work & do something.
@@SparkyMarkyMark23glad ur not making the movies
@@Sdotty_sweep I ain't, that's an idea.
The reason Halloween ends was a middling undercooked movie was because of the people who wanted it to be some epic face off film.
I think they should focus on a completely new character for a final girl if they decide to reboot it. Move away from Laurie and move away from the Myers family.
The fans don’t want Jamie Lee Curtis. So general audience’s definitely won’t.
I think it could be cool to make Michael an orphan
Let that franchise rest for a bit
I feel like to would be cool to have Judith live and have Lori which is with her in the series but this time Judith is more of the main character then Lori but she’s with Judith throughout it
I personally enjoy the sequel trilogy and Halloween Ends was closure for Laurie and the story of her and Michael. I liked the finale and true ending. Wish they would leave it to stand and breathe.
