I love this video so much! Caucasian American woman here with her Thai husband for going on 20 years now. My husband is also resourceful, he negotiates like a fiend and knows how to treat a lady. He's a big softy and spoils our dog, and at the same time has a stubborn streak to figure out problems. He also cooks the best Thai food! - we never go out to Thai restaurants here in Houston!

Fewer western ladies with Thai men. As a Thai man, I ever had that moment once in my life but relation did not develop further as I was afraid of cultural differences.
Cultural differences are wonderful but also scary 😅
I'm a western woman that has so many questions for Thai men.... how do they feel about the "passport bros" movement? What kind of women are they attracted to? Would they date a woman that was taller or older than them?
@@flutingaround I'm Thai. I think we don't care about the "passport bros" movement. We have seen foriengers with Thai women all the time. It's nothing new. I think taller or older it's not a problem. The problem is how to start a conversion with us. Normally we are shy and there are no oppunity to start a conversion with a foreigner women. If you are interest in Thai men, learn Thai and start the conversion first.

This was a beautiful video Maayan! I actually teared up when Megan was talking about how happy her husband makes her at the end even though Im not a mushy lovey dovey person at all. . And after reading that she was married twice before him Im really so happy for her for finding her happiness. Correct me if Im wrong but i feel like the older generation maybe doesnt have as much love and respect for women as the younger one? Id love to be wrong but i feel like patriarchy is a big thing there? Like "the man of the house" demanding more respect...
Either way it feels like the younger ones are more open minded and in touch with their emotions...more free spirited. Like Mon :)

Most Thai are Buddhists. I think it's just our culture both men and women are calm and easy going. In the south of Thailand, there are a lot of Muslims.

I think I've watched enough Thai BL dramas to feed my Thai men fantasy for a lifetime. Hopefully, they're not just fantasy 😂
Again, so much of what is said by all these women is exactly what I would say about my Mexican husband (even those silly negative and inaccurate stereotypes). Almost 30 years together and counting. Talk about DIY and being the answer to “Who you gonna call?” if there is a practical problem that needs fixing. So many of our friends in Canada call him the “Mexican MacGyver”.

Every MEN love sex doesnt matter where he is from. I am 100% positively sure that you do agree with me. But why do you only specify a Thai man who love sex??
I will respectfully disagree with you on this one. I was married twice before meeting Pop and both my ex husbands had very low sex drives. I brought up several times about how this made me feel self conscious and they assured me that it wasn’t my fault and that they’d change. It didn’t and it caused both relationships to fall apart (among other things). Pop constantly tells me how much he wants me, even after 5 years of marriage and 3 kids. Also, if you rewatch, you will see that I had no previous experience with anyone from Thailand and the sex part was what I found on Google. So this was my personal experience with a Thai man, not a generalization of all Thai men or singling out Thai men.

Personal for sure. Why share it with everyone? Imagine if a man talked that way about his wife. What would people say?
So nice, but to short. And there are also bad stories. You can't generalize people. If you just change the bad stereotypes into good ones, they still remain stereotypes. But people are individuals in every culture. Some protect their wives, others regard their wives as property. Some are easygoing, others go berserk and mistreat their wives. Some cook well, some don't.
