I remember feeling kinda bad the first time I killed Amatsu in MHP3, because he was so majestic. That feeling kinda wore off after the 12th time though...I really wanted his armor set.

Must be pretty challenging, I wonder how tough it must be to solo tanky monsters like Alatreon with Nyanta? I like how there's cool Nyanta builds but I'm worried it's like MH4U IG where there's few builds worth going for.

Also, the overall atmosphere is perfect. Crimson skies, rolling thunder, majestic music, an Elder Dragon floating in the eye of the storm... I want to experience that myself.
any special things to looks for on a Boomerang Nyanta I'm missing, Gaijin? I've currently got a Trap one with Emergency Escape, Pierce + Huge Boomerang, and Weapon Enhancement using AuL + Boomerang Pro. but once I level him up more the only other good ability is Herb Horn lol. also, would there happen to be a skill like Pro Trapper (Traps cost 1 less gauge), but for the Boomerang abilities?

How do you get to this fight? I just got Mhx and I want to fight the Amatsumagatsuchi. I'm already used to MH so I won't have a problem but I can't find the quest.
just open your HR limiter by clearing HR8 quest, and you will get some additional quest including elder dragon hunting(akantor, alatreon,ukanlos,etc), it's on the highest star quest list

This video proves those cat hunts in 4u were broken. Four people play as cats and destroy an elder dragon while five cats fail to kill an elder dragon.
+a rather festive person yeah but it's a lot better now. You can transform materials into scrap. Just crafting stuff for yourself gives you scrap (if I'm not mistaken pretty sure it does though) and the new meownster hunter minigame is a lot faster to complete
The funny thing is the fact that you have the profile pic of a monster from an advanced Monster Hunter. Yet didn't know that fortes were dead. Damn shame

The sky is violet in MHX whilist in MHP3rd, it is purple. The 2nd phase is less noticable in MHX unless you play with a sound.

The weapon is from Silverwind Nargacuga, search for it's attack. Boomerang power for Nargacuga weapons is higher than the normal attack.
