  • Worried about the dreadful toyota frame rusting overtime??
Here's a video for 4Runner owners who wants to keep their 4R for a very long time without early rusting on the frame.
This tweak will at least reduce the process of frame rusting which is common to toyota frames on 4Runner, Tacoma and FJ Cruiser.

I like how you did it- smart... accessible so you don't have to remove the wheel when you want to snake the drain tube after off roading to make sure nothing is clogging it.

I just did my FJ yesterday and mine sticks down like yours. Should be fine. Like you I will keep an eye on it.

I have a GX 460 but did the same mod as you. My tubing sticks down lower than the frame slightly, like yours, but I have mine angled to the rear so it doesn’t pick up any debris coming from the front.

Perfect, i did mine exactly like yours. The hose sticks 2 inches below the frame. I can always trim it if any issues.
