- Hi everybody ! A different format for this one, as I filmed this approach only from the front view. This approach is so nice that I decided to still share it with you. I've added comments so you can follow along this Visual circling approach in Ajaccio, an extremely beautiful island ! Enjoy :)

Oustanding ! High-precision approach on the Beauty Island.
This one deserves more views. Absolutely brilliant!
Gorgeous, breathtaking view!!
4:55 Monte Gozzi - fantastic red granite multi pitch climbing routes. :-)
Wow, what a beautiful approach! Didn't know it was this nice!
Absolutely perfect landing. Thank you for sharing with us.
Awesome video, thanks Max! No unneccessary music, nice angles and explanations. Keep them coming!
Very nice approach and landing Max. It's my country seen from the sky. Your videos are always beautiful. Thank you and hope to see you soon!
Love your channel, thanks for this video!
I have panic fear of flying and your videos help me to overcome it. Thank you!
Lovely video. Beautiful approach ,well done and thanks for sharing.
Thank you ;)
I love Aviation. Being a pilot wouldn't really be my favourite job but I can't argue against the view :D
Incredible and beautiful :)
Very interesting, thanks for sharing.
Great approach flying and nice landing!
Thank you ;)
I have Corsican ancestry on my mother’s side. Personally, never been to Corsica. This video was warmly enjoyed and deeply appreciated. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you ;)
Hi Max beautiful landing. Very hard approach. Hope To see you in the 787.
Thank you ;)
That’s an outstanding approach, indeed challenging ... what is the height the aircraft is fully stabilized and configured when landing on RWY20?
❤
toffe video! danku
Bedankt ;)
Fantastic stuff as always. Thanks for sharing. How about the next approach vid is when you are the Captain!!
Thank you ;) I'd love to sit in the left seat, but that's not quite soon ;)
Prachtig! Weer een challenge ahead voor flightsim te gaan 😅
Dear PilotMax, it's a great pleasure to follow you in your videos. Please, could you add a zoom of the PFD in all your next videos? Thanks a lot. Best regards. Giulio
Minimums at 4000', then a circling approach? Wow!
Hey, beautiful video thanks for coming with those.
Just a question though, you didn't land on the aimpoint, is it not a problem for this kind of ground markings with only one aimpoint and no TDZ ? When would you go around, only if it's a too long landing ? Thanks for the answer.
Great approach and landing!!! Thank you. Hey, by the way what's the name of your soundtrack towards the end of the video?
Ahah the best approche in france for .e 😍
Next MVL approche at LFKC RWY36 ?? 😂
Congrats ! Very nice approach. Approach to Calvi is also fantastic as I remember 30 years ago with an Air Inter Mercure ;) do you also fly to that airport ?
You speak Dutch, German, French and English? Awesome!
Superbe !! Est-ce une approche ILS ou juste à vue avec les "papi" ?
Beautiful approach, I have never seen skidmarks long as almost whole runway, is that from heavy braking? Could I ask you on which level your autobrakes was set??
And I am also joining the questions about how many plane types you can operate simultaneously, because I always thought that you can have only one "active" type rating for an airliner, but obviously not. :D Is it because the modern glass cockpits are more similar to use or is it just the airline thing? Thank you for answer, keep on doing the best cockpit vids!
Hi ! Thank you ;) I believe autobrakes were not used on this landing, as we need to vacate at the end, only idle reverse and slight manual braking was required. The airport has a lot of general aviation as well, so these skid marks may be from smaller planes landing much further down the runway or doing touch and go's on the whole runway.
Under EASA we are allowed to fly 2 different types at the same time. In my company we are combining either 737 and 787, or 737 and E-190 ;)
Superb , do you have the 1rst person view for this approach ? Thank you. !
Thanks ;) No unfortunately that's the only view I have of this approach ;)
What for airlines do you fly?
g8!
I thought you moved on to the 787 already?
Forza ACA
Why the 737 and not the 787?
Because I fly both :)
@@pilotmax Is that even possible? Have never seen it before
@@ghostnukezz9477 yeah same question here😅🤔
EASA allows to fly on maximum 2 different types at the same time ;) My company allows combination of 737 and 787, or 737 and E-190 ;)
@@pilotmaxthats cool! thanks for the answer :D
this is nice but planes could just fly in from the opposite direction above that long valley in the background and that would almost be a straight in landing... why is that prohibited? nature reserve etc? why you must use a potencially more risky approach? charts dont state any normal approach from the north...
no talking?
Yes but you just can't hear it with the noise ;)
