Most of Behemoth's attacks are actually very easy to i-frame, especially with practice (at the time of this run I'd already killed him around 2000 times). It also helps to start by practicing with some evade window then cut it down to none as you get better.

Defender cb actually better than tyrannis?

I believe so, at least in long hunts like this. 50 units of natural white plus 0% base affinity makes it very competitive. The phials only hit for ~10% less than the tyrannis, so as long as you land the SAED axe hits of the defender on weak spots, you end up with very similar or even better damage.

@@Alternum I guess you also do somewhat less SAED's on average against behe than other monsters ye makes sense

The phial charging sword hits are a more substantial part of your damage.
