- What happened to Billionaire Boys Club Icecream clothing? A brand created in collaboration between rapper and producer Pharrell Williams and Nigo of A Bathing Ape fame.
BBC would serve as one of the grandfathers of the whole streetwear as high fashion trend that would later take over a decade or so later.
In the early to mid 2000s BBC was huge, everyone wanted the pieces and it netted tons of profit for the brands creators.
But like many of the brands from that era, Billionaire Boys Club Icecream is not quite the huge players that it once was.

This was me I was 7/8in 2005-06 but my aunt had bought me some Season 1 ice cream boardflip shoes, gray/pink. And I have a blue diamond and money hoodie. And a couple goodies.. got back into ice cream recently @ age 23 going through my old clothes.. placed some orders on some vintage 05/06 shit that started it for me

They actually still going strong. They just opened a flagship store in Miami last month lol. It’s just not hype beasted no more but still sales and is cool

Fall. They just opened their Miami Flagship in Wynwood. Since Pharrell brought it back from Iconix before they went under, the lines are sold at limited quantities. If you’re a luxury or mid-luxury brand, then you ideally do not want to see your stuff everywhere. Next year, will make 20 years.

I would say BBC became so popular that at this point it's able to still coast off it's past popularity and do numbers till this day also streetwear was never about being trendy it was more about being exclusive and kinda hard to find Pharrell has found that perfect balance between being mainstream with underground sensibilities with BBC
