This deciding rapid tiebreak game between Grandmasters Vassily Ivanchuk and Alexander Grischuk in Round 6 of the 2011 FIDE World Chess Cup in Khanty-Mansysk, Russia.
Being ahead in the match, Grischuk only needs a draw to advance. The winner of this match faces 6 time Russian Champion Peter Svidler in the final.
I think it would be a lot more better if the commentators were Maurice Ashley and Daniel King or Even Kosteniuk and Keene. What do you think?
Incredible commentary. Never heard Anna Sharevich before. She's always flirting!
@efremch0 its called dgt board. the moves made at the board are automaically recorded after they made a move.
@efremch0 it is a special board. The cable transfers the moves to a computer.
a russion chess player drinking coca cola during a chess cup. oh god the world has chaned since the cold war
At the end, why not e5 for black instead of Qh6??
White's queen and rook are threatened...
I hadn't checked with a computer but this seems to win, right?
I like it !
I had the same problem but it stopped earlier at 4:44
Ideally, chess should show the players and the computer chess board. Occassionally you can pan to the regular board, but it isn't necessary. Only when people can identify the players will chess become maketable to a larger audience.
@tantzer ii think it should be "fought"
I guess it didnt matter too him because he just needed a draw to qualify to the final..
The comp. board is unnecessary.
No way
is it my computer?
It goes to 4:59 and ends.
Freezes.
Here...somebody help me carry it over and throw it out the Windows...
So looong
