Thats pretty good sound mod for the KI Arcade 1up. I have a couple of other arcades that have the same amount of buzzing when on also and found that a small device called a ground loop isolator will get rid of the majority if not all of the buzzing noise. Amazon a great place to get one of those devices and works really well for all those applications. Good job on the install.
Cool stuff! When I had first picked up a Sound System for my MVC I went with some Cyber Acoustics speakers that had LED lights on them and stuff... But they didn't sound good with the cab. So then I never used those on MVC and I went to get the Logitech Z533 speakers.... Great set! Later on I got Class of 81 and so I upgraded the Speakers on MVC to the Logitech Z623 and moved over the Z533 to Class of 81. Yaaa things are pretty loud here and filled with depth.
Just built a T2 and am looking into an audio mod. I think they make " GROMMET HOLE COVERS " that will fit the holes you made on the back to give it a more clean stock look. Have a good one.
FYI these speakers will not fit the midway legacy cabinet behind the marquee in factory location. I did however get them to fit velow the control deck and have some speaker grill cutouts for them.
I installed this system on my KI, I had to put the subwoofer outside the cabinet. With it inside the cabinet the sound was vibrating the cabinet and distorting the sound pretty bad. Are you having that issue?
@@nerdloftgaming so I took a auxiliary splitter, and connected an auxiliary to my JBL Bluetooth speaker and holy God it's night and day with killer instinct, easy simple upgrade. The bass and sound is incredible when ripping off devastating king combos!
I seriously don’t get how you fit those speakers up in the top spot where the original speaker holes were. Idk if your cab has more space up there than the marvel superheroes cab but it’s bugging the fuck out of me. I don’t wanna mount them on top 🤪. Ugh I wish you could show it.
I laid the speakers face down, with the bottom part of the speaker facing up, and the top facing towards the back of the cabinet ! It’s a perfect fit !
I ran into this with my MK3 cab , they will not fit in the top , but they did fit in my MK 30th , MK3 has the cardboard top and the MK30th has the hard top with more room.
I just installed these speakers on my killer instinct cab. There’s some white noise before the music plays and while the volumes turned to 0. Is this normal? I also have the buzz sound when it shuts off but I know of that issue.

Can you attach auxiliary cable to the headphone jack and connect an external speaker?
That's what I did with my Ridge Racer cab, should be the same here.
@@nerdloftgaming I went and tried my JBL Bluetooth speaker to the headphone port and huge upgrade!

You are aware that your plexi still has the peel on it, yes? !Frosty
LOL I did the same thing on my MK3 cab, saw it one day with the lights on and realized it needed a good peeling !
