Strider 2 (2000) was released by Capcom as a sequel to the original Strider, based on his appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom (tasvideos.org/2....
Once more, you must kill the Grandmaster Meio armed only with an insanely awesome sword and your own ninja skills. A very nice demonstration of what happens when a high-reflex game is given tool assistance.
Only the necessary levels are completed in order to reach the final boss.
EZGames69 (tasvideos.org/E...) improves the predecessor movie (tasvideos.org/1...) by 12.5 real-time seconds, but that includes longer load times caused by better emulation and a BIOS screen.

Eh the problem for me was a lack of replay value. It was super fun the first time, but even with an unlockable character, there just wasn't much reason to play it again and again.

@@solarflare9078 eh, a lot of arcade games are fun to play through a few times, or are good for a quick game session, or even to revisit months later. This game felt extra one and done. I haven't played this for about 17 years, but I feel like I still remember the whole experience, and don't really have a desire to go back and play it again. Still have my copy on PS1, and I have the first on Genesis. Hiryu is also a staple on my teams in the first 2 MvC games. But honestly I didn't think this game was amazing. It's worth checking out, but I'm not sure I would call it a classic, or even really a great game. It's a fun game with ZERO replayability. Just my opinion 🤷‍♂️.
