Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha is an enhanced version of Street Fighter EX released for the PlayStation in 1997. It features all the characters present in the original Arcade version, plus several new ones exclusive to the upgraded Arcade version (titled Street Fighter EX Plus) and PS1 version. The latter also features several modes, such as a practice mode and a time attack mode.
NhatNM (tasvideos.org/...) completes every trial in the game's Expert Mode in record time.

Very nice indeed. A hitherto unexplored TAS branch which in most cases would be faded to low entertainment, but worked so well here thanks to the tie-in sequences being marked accomplished. Congrats!

I spent way too much time on this mode back then (same for SFEX2 and 3). Neat how sometimes an extra super is chained at the end just to avoid sending the opponent flying away

Me and my friends used to do these trials in Japanese version because during that time we did not have the English version. So, we tried our best and were able to Complete Everything even though it's in Japanese. From Philippines ☺

There are 4 more from a bonus disc. It's the 4 unlockable characters. Bloody Hokuto, Evil Ryu, Cycloid Beta, Cycloid Gamma. Good luck though because it's all in Japanese.

Why did the game still count Akuma trial n°16 as complete despite not doing the fireball super, as stated by the in-game prompt?
Only thing bugging me of the whole TAS, which is really well done

I have this question too. The only thing I can think of is that the game (for some reason) is counting the Hado-Ken as part of the super. I don't know anything about the code, but maybe the activation of the Messatsu-Gou-Shoryu makes the game think that the active fireball is a super, and therefore counts the hits after the activation of the super as having come from the Messatsu-Gou-Hado. The same thing happened to Justin Wong on a stream of him playing this game too.

The super energy ball from the air with Kairi never worked for me when the opponent hit the ground... Dont know what you are doing differently but there seems to be hacks here in question. When your opponent hits the ground your combo is finished, no way to hit him again until he stands up again. Cheers
