74-14 in Drop F. The high strings were a tad thick but the 74 in F on the 27" was perfect. Just the right amount of tension to get a sick growl on that low string.

So something is only allowed to sound good if it's difficult to play... why?
Adam Lay It's not that something has to be difficult to play to be good but it's harder to find true appreciation for something that really doesn't take any creativity or skill.
Cheo Samad ive heard alot of people try groovy riffs in metal and they can sound pretty shit, so to say this incredibly groovy riff and well structured idea doesnt take any creativity is abit below the belt

It's not always about how technical shit is all the time! Sure I love me some Obscura and Rings os Saturn, but at times it's just fun as hell to headbang or chug to some simple, heavy downtuned stuff. Even Steve Vai once said that every once in a while, you feel good by playing with a shitload of distortion and just running with it!

I remember seeing this video when it was first uploaded, and wanting one ever since that day.
Well, whilst in Sydney for Soundwave, I came across one in a guitar storen and half an hour after seeing her on the wall, I walked out with, hands down, the best guitar I have ever come across (so far) So from myself and Lucy (what I named her) we just wanted to say thanks, Alex, for catching my attention to such an incredible instrument. All of my mates absolutely me and all want one now!
If this is the sound Whitechapel is going for on their next album then I cannot wait!

Sacredgeometry "stefan" is spelled stephen and he himself calls himself steven.
