I cooked and baked everything for my wedding also plus decorated the small hall with my friends; made all the table decorations plus my own bouquet. Didn't put anyone including us into debt including my parents.

Absolutely agree, I see BIG percentage of marriages fail this generation too, especially with the middle Eastern, Asian backgrounds, cause of the amount of money they spend just for 5-6hrs...it is forbidden. They should put that money towards building a future together with with family, or even help the poor, that have no food, and don't survive 😒
