Thanks for joining me this year in this watercolor journaling journey. I hope to paint in my journal most days of the year and invite you to join me. We don't need big resolutions, just gentle intentions to tend to our creative soul, a little bit everyday. And learn a little something along the way.

Hello from the UK. I hope you are well. I have recently subscribed to your channel and just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your tutorials. Love how clearly you explain what you are doing and how to correct things if needed. I am learning lots. I'm 70 years old, relatively new to watercolour painting but absolutely love it and enjoy it with my grandchildren too although what we produce isnt perfect, it doesnt matter one bit. It is extremely valuable to see mistakes: what can be salvaged, what has to be lived with and what lessons can be learned for next time. What I really appreciate was your immediate analysis at the end of the first peach that you would have preferred it rounded out more. I am trying very hard to do that. Not in a critical way so much as in an "aha!" way. Basically trying to wring out the positive. I try to do a next version as quickly as possible. If I actually nail it it is incredibly satisfying, if it it still not right, well, I have absolutely figured out what is wrong and just need more practise to get it right. Your daily sketchbook venture has contributed more than any other input I have had in helping me improve my attitude, my painting and my enjoyment. You are a fantastic influence in my life and I am truly grateful.

Fun, this exercise.
Only wish that both peaches were visible of the two that were previously painted, while you were painting two again.
I realize that the reference was a real peach plus your visual image of a peach, and not a reference image, so the goal wasn't to replicate the first two painted peaches, but similarities between the first two and the second two seem apparent, which are fun for comparison.
