I have that exact same bike and have needed to rebuild the forks for quite some time. I am afraid parts won't be available, or I won't get it apart and back together correctly, but this video really gives me the confidence to tackle the job and get it done. Thanks for making this video.
After you installed the ballbearings and the top race guide. what is the hardware order to install the tree back on? i had a basket case and im trying to figure this out! thanks!
Dealership has some stuff. eBay is an option. Do a google search, there a bunch of sites out there that sell parts. Mostly anymore are after market though. The OEM stuff is getting rare and pricey if you can find it. Otherwise, auctions and swap meets.
nice! needed to look how the front end came apart if had ball bearings in a cage or just freely moving around in a race. thanks for showing.

Starting my z50 project, where do you order your parts from?
Hey buddy, nice vid, but why don't you show how to take the front shock inserts.out. That is a.major problem on these old units.
Nice work, what grease did you use for your rebuild?
Silkolene

I had one for over 30 years, and then only two days after I moved into a new apartment, someone idiot stole it.
