The lightsaber is high density energy which melts materials. The head was still inside the helmet. Plus, if the helmet was loose Jango Fett would lose his helmet when flying.

I actually like the prequels. I'm not saying that they're perfect and have no problems, but that the good outweighs the bad. But that's just my opinion. What's yours?
EDIT: Since the comments are also talking about The Force Awakens, I might as well let you know that I loved the movie. I felt that it was similar to Episode IV, but different enough.

I agree completely, they aren't great, but People should stop acting as if everything connected to them is terrible. The movies gave us some great designs for characters, planets and aliens and 2 great animated shows.

Vader was not supposed to be Anakin... It was decided later. There is a old interview with Lucas where he said the First Trilogy would show Anakin, Vader and Obi-Wan in clone wars. Also he said the third trilogy would show the adventure of survived characters from second trilogy. I believe he was intending to kill Han Solo and merry Luke and Leia - a not sister Leia, of course, since Luke's original sister was another character called Nellith.

A fact missed about Boba Fett.
Boba Fett only had a few lines as they closed the auditions for the role and since fans wanted the movies out they didnt have time for another boba fett, Boba was actually pretty bad in the lines and remembering them so they took out most of his lines, and Boba was meant to play an much bigger role.

You missed the best ones. In Episode III when they were making the opening battle scene a crew member said that they had everything in there except the kitchen sink, so of course they had to have a kitchen sink as part of the debris hitting a Separatist cruiser. The Imperial officer who was shot inside the shield generator in Episode VI was also a member of the crew and pointed it out in the Directors Commentary of the DVD. George Lucas' daughter could be seen behind Chancellor Palpatine in Episode III and is seen again with her dad in the opera scene. Because they used the Millenium Falcon for the headquarters in Blade Runner, they added the Blade Runner ship to the traffic going past the window in Episode II. Those are the ones that come to mind but if you watch director commentaries they point out even more.

Here’s a couple more. One of the stormtroopers hits his head on the doorway. This was unscripted, the actor forgot to duck under the doorway, but the shot was kept in and the “bong” sound effect was added.
From the same movie, actor Mark Hamill comments that he can’t see a thing inside the stormtrooper helmet, unaware that thr camera was rolling and the mic picked up the comment. This was kept in as it sounded like something Luke might say anyway.

no. its pretty common knowledge that Guiness hated the role, but knew it would be huge. Obi-Wan was supposed to survive the Death Star. Lucas is famous for claiming things well after the fact. Guiness states this is many interviews.
