Just wanted to comment about this because I've seen a lot of people calling me out for being stupid! - there is a (now removed) section of the video where I rather stupidly accidentally diss KSI's Jamaican dialect in his songs and I just wanted to explain the mistake. In this video I make a joke about how KSI uses the word "Ting" and when making fun of those lyrics the main joke was that they were still bad lyrics regardless of the "ting" usage and I should've made more fun of that - but instead I insulted his use of the word ting and said "thing" would've been easier. This is just a dumb and insensitive joke to make and I realize it may seem I'm just dunking on the Jamaican dialect. In my head I was more thinking of it as if someone like "Drake" was using the word ting, where if he is using the word ting you know he's on some dumb shit and just trying to sound cool and different cause Drake ain't Jamaican. Obviously it's different when it comes to KSI and it was a dumb joke and I'll take ownership. Also, for some reason I thought he had Caribbean heritage.. that's not true at all I don't know where or how I saw that online.. I might've hallucinated it. I'm sorry about that another dumb mistake for the books. And the last mistake I made was also conveniently from the same lyric - In the lyric KSI says "Me nuh even care if you're the fake or the real and I made a joke "me no even know why he speak like the caveman" which is stupid because he is speaking in the Jamaican Dialect and this time it just sounds like I'm just straight up being racist. I promise this was not intentional! in the spotify lyrics for the song it says "Me no even care" and I just assumed that he just chose "me no" for fun because it fit the rhyme scheme or something. With the context that it was actually "me nuh" I realize how dumb that joke makes me look. I promise my joke in the video wasn't "me nuh even know why he speak like the caveman" that would've been very bad. Obviously I should've realized before I published the video, and I'm sorry everybody!
i feel like KSI's generic and bland lyrics wouldn't be so noticeable if the instrumentals behind them weren't also uninteresting. as you said, lots of it sound like they just searched "type beat no copyright" into youtube and went from there. i think it's really obvious when listening to remixes of thick of it, for example. they add flow switchups, actual percussion, beat drops, etc. same lyrics but the song is now bearable lmao
@@B-Locc No one stole shit, we’ve spoken like this since the influx of Caribbean immigration post WW2. They passed down parts of their language and dialect to other Caribbeans and black people that were born in the UK

Ting is fairly common with British black people as well, the whole British roadman accent has after all evolved from a mix of other ones, including carribean patois, so the whole section în the video is still ignorant at best

Instead he was just policing the accent as if ting is a fake word
