The Indian Navy has saved 23 Pakistani nationals after their ship was attacked and hijacked by pirates in the Arabian Sea. The Pakistani sailors sent an SOS amid the attack, which prompted a response from the Indian navy. Navy personnel conducted a 12-hour-long operation, which ended with the surrender of the attacking pirates. Following the operation, the Pakistanis aboard the ship hailed the Indian Navy, and thanked them. Since December 2023, India has conducted around 18 crucial operations in the Arabian Sea, all in response to distress calls by sailors who fell prey to pirate attacks. Sadly, rescue operations like this do not endear India to the Pakistanis. Rather, it increases their resentment at having to be to be grateful to India. India needs to maintain a roster of Indian merchant navy men and the ships they are on, and focus on protecting those. Let the Pakistanis solve their own problems.

These operation will given good hands on practice and on toes for indian navy.. its like Goverment Doctors have more exprience than the private with different scenarios of patients. Pirates had been in the area for decades. Why india waited until now to fight pirates instead of the Houthis. And making use of this fighting against some easy small time Somalian pirates for adverts and advertising on how great and powerful indian navy is. It's a Cheap way for the indian navy to advertising their sea prowess and gaining some world recognition.
