It was because of this song that let me realize that I am who I am, Of course Modern Family and the Fosters helped. But This song also helped me accept my true self. 3 years later i hear this song and see the video and I am dripping in tears at the end. Of course my family is super supportive so that's a bonus. I started questioning my Sexuality when i was about 16 I knew I liked guys, But I was in a little bit of denial. If I could say anything to Macklemore it would be thank you. He helped me in the process he helped me realize that being yourself is the best thing you can ever be.

I was so sad to see Mary didn't win the grammy for her song, when she found out she had 2 nominations she was crying and laughing. I really wanted her or her song to win, and I love her version before m and rl made it over and love their version, and I think ellen should be ashamed of herself over not mentioning mary in this song since it was her song too.
