Jesus knew that he was gonna be betrayed by Judas from the start, yet he still chose Judas to be a disciple, treated him fairly, loved him the same as the other disciples, even after the betrayal of Judas, jesus forgave Judas and looked upon him with grace and mercy.
The answer to the questions "did Judas went to hell because he betrayed jesus?" Or "did Judas went to hell because he committed suicide?" Is that we will never know and we do not need to worry about it, these questions are far too small compared to how Jesus intended these events are for.
The bigger picture is that there is something we can learn and reflect from what happened from these events. First is that we always betray Christ daily in exchange for worldy things, and it's up to us whether we choose to repent or not, wether it be a commitment to the lord or a sacrifice of our worldy desires. And second is that we should learn to have compassion and mercy towards those who have hurt and will hurt us just like Christ's example, doesn't matter what they did or what they will do, as long we see them with compassion and mercy, Love always prevails, the Love from God, for God is love.

They never paid judas... Judas paid them to release his master. Last supper states that judas left with a coin purse.. The rest of the disciples thought he left to give charity. You cannot give charity with a empty coin purse. Judas left with a full coin purse prior to meeting the high priest. Only until they arrested Jesus is when he casted 30 pieces of silver for the priest to release Jesus. Instead they capture judas hung him and disembowelled him on a tree. Unlike Peter judas never denied Jesus as lord and savior. Peter did not take up his cross that night... He denied christ 3 times in front of christ. Judas proved to be more worthy that night. Judas risked his own life and gave up his riches to free Jesus.. Because he believed in him.. Peter denied jesus 3 times to save his own ass. Judas>peter

Instead. Unlike Peter who got saved by asking for forgiveness, Judas did not ask for forgiveness but he killed himself. So the reason he is most likely going to hell is because he did not go back to his lord and savior Jesus. He totally rejected Jesus and killed himself. He did not repent!

The devil blinded him to the truth when it was in front of his eyes all along. And then the devil blinded him to salvation after the atrocity had been committed…. It’s a very important message for us all to absorb because we all betray gods will at times when we sin. And I’m sure a lot of us have felt unworthy of forgiveness at times for the terrible acts we committed. It’s a lesson on the importance of repentance.

Judas went to hell but his soul was not left there. When Jesus went into the grave and took keys of Hell and Death from Satan(Rev 1) he led the captives out of captivity(Hell) (Ephesians 4). Not everyone went to heaven from this point. Some people chose not to repent and not go with Jesus like Jezabel(Rev 2). Judas was brought out of hell by Jesus because Jesus(God) cannot lie. Judas was chosen by Jesus and his betray was prophecy(John 13). Judas was prophesied over by Jesus and was told that he will judge the 12 tribes with the disciples(Matt 19) and Jesus told His disciples that all that the Father has given Him, He has lost none(John 19). Judas ate commuion with the Lord which gave him a part in the Lord(John 6, Luke 22, Rev 3).

Peter and Judas both deny the Lord and they both repented according to the scriptures: however, Peter was sorrowful with a godly sorrow and repented in genuine faith while Judas had false faith and was merely sorry he got caught:
"Godly sorrow as a result of salvation while worldly sorrow is a work of death"... 2 Corinthians 7:10

Man im gonna leave this here. Few years ago i was bad into addiction, hoplessness and ibn full despair. Overdosed 5 times, few intentionally. Knowing i tried denying the Gift of Life that God gave me, man i just want to curl into a ball. I try hard everyday to forgive the tings ive dont in the past, its really hard and i think thats what i need to stop holding onto. Ive tried and succesfully done things in the name of God but i FEEL something holding me back. I just have to pray and give it to God. Thank you Jesus for allowing me another chance at the Gift of Everlasting Life with no more suffering and despair,m for thats all ive known. However for that is no more. God Bless.

    Psalm 109
    6. Set thou a wicked man over him: and let an adversary stand at his right hand.
    7. When he is judged, let him come forth guilty; and let his prayer be turned into sin.
    8. Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
    9. Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
    10. Let his children be vagabonds, and beg; and let them seek their bread out of their desolate places.
    11. Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let strangers make spoil of his labour.
    12. Let there be none to extend mercy unto him; neither let there be any to have pity on his fatherless children.
    13. Let his posterity be cut off; in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
    14. Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
    15. Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

    Psalm 103: 8-11 (NKJV)
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
9 He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.
10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth,
    So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
This means that God is fully merciful and always ready to forgive us, no matter what we do, how he doesn't treat us according to our sins and how his love towards the ones who fear him, is infinite
