I really enjoy your channel! I like the more substantive content, but I also recognize it takes more time to prepare. I loved your CGC series of videos, your top 5 videos, and stuff along those lines. Maybe content like where you see your collecting journey taking you, goals, objectives, maybe a tour of your comic collection area (I always like seeing how others store their comics), etc. I'd also like to see any X-Men stuff, if you have any of that. Other than that, I don't really have much advice to offer. I'm not sure how to recommend establishing a footprint in the viewer community and to grow an audience. I'd say try to find an angle that works to your strengths and passions, because that's contagious. As for shorts, I'm not a huge fan of those, because, well, they're too short.

I agree - skip the unboxings. I think videos that focus on lessons learned or your thought process would be great. Examples might be: How you store your comics (valuable and non-valuable, CGC vs raw), How you organize the collection, how you decide on buying/selling, what new comics do you look at and how do you decide which ones to go after. Just some ideas.

I like the unboxings but I get it. I think your “top 5” format. Also, maybe get into your top 5 spec books on your radar (not new books, already existing books). Or what your top 5 reasons to pick up a book. Besides their books you want. But collecting covers, first appearance, second appearances, origin stories, first series, story, art. Whatever. Stuff like that. Maybe?
I can't speak for anyone else, but what I want to see are showcase videos, where you show your collection's of certain comics. Like one day, Superman related comics, another day Spiderman related comics and so on. But I am a very unusual youtuber-I don't care about views-I make my videos based on what I am in the mood to do, no matter who watches it

I started watching you cause you looked like a SERIOUS COLLECTOR and you put your money where your knowledge is. Besides expensive books maybe books that are worth having regardless of value, nuff said!!
Friendly advice: Short can be Unboxing or Weekly online deal found, that be great!!! REG Vid can be more content based - like how you store comics, but the journey from RAW to SLABS. Is right now a good time to collect RAW or SLABS. Setting proper expectation for comic collecting as an investment or have you sold your book as an investment of such... Lot of collector I seen that "bought" comic as an investor eventually burnout, never really sells or eventually becomes weekly UA-camr talking online lol. I for myself, slowly backway from the weekly buyer to QUALITY over QTY.
I personally like long content, top 5’s are always cool (top 5 budget keys, top 5 books under £50 for DC, marvel, indie) I’m not a fan of shorts but that me. Maybe an artist feature section ? Few ideas for you mate. Keep going 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧
Do you feel that buying graded comics outright is a bigger financial risk versus submitting to CGC trying to "win" a high grade? I'm a bit worried that most are already of this view and inevitably there will be a vast majority of slab sellers with very little buyers.
I think that's definitely true for more inexpensive comics, I'm not so convinced with higher value books. Sure you can take a risk of restoration or wrong grade in a low value raw book, but most collectors I see buying expensive books aren't willing to risk thousands and prefer to buy graded. Just my two cents
Unboxings become like every other channel “boring” yes it’s nice to see books on what other collect but show and telling what a person bought is redundant. Talking with other people on the channel and their thoughts with the hobby to just things in general like that is what I enjoy. But show and tell with click bait posts is just a way to lure a person to say hey look what I got… it’s why cooking channels or travel channels get more views then comic ones as it’s a very niche hobby.

I prefer more content than less. But if you just want to offer one video per week, that’s fine. However, if you upload random, infrequent content like unboxings, I would enjoy or that too.

I think less content on unboxing is fine. We see enough of that from other YTubers. Unboxings where it takes close to a minute to open a box, I normally stop watching no matter the grail. I liked your video on Heroes Con, so more Con vids you attend in the future would be super. Your top 5 (or #) are always great. The top sources for buying comics and the recommended books for a specific title or character (and why) were terrific examples of vids I'd liked to see more of. However, when you do show a comic and why, it's already in your PC, or at least, removed from the packaging before going on camera. I think viewers prefer quality video content over quantity. Golden age unboxing are nice you should keep doing those. It's different. There isn't a lot of channels reviewing vintage comics
I prefer the unboxings the most. Especially if its books Im particularly interested in seeing (Golden Age, Disney, DC)
