Today I am bringing you a HIGHLY REQUESTED JUMBO BOX BRAID TUTORIAL. This video is in regular speed and sped up however I am very detailed and I do break down what I am doing.

You have saved me.lol left hairdressing a number of years and NEVER was I taught the rubber band method. Just the hourssssss long struggle of standing. For those that say it’s not a tutorial it totally is it shows from the beginning to the end how to complete the look and it has the commentary in the corner as to which step I personally haven’t been able to learn how to box braid because I couldn’t get that step right to bring the hair I never even thought about using little rubber bands you pull the piece through in the middle of the band and wallah you have a three piece right there thank you I love it!
Only reason ima do jumbo braids is bc I ain’t going back to da store and getting more hair and that’s on periodt😭.

I just did box braids on myself. Started Friday with a few and finished tonight. I used rubberbands and than used crochet needle. It made it easier to grip to the root. For those who did rubberband, did you have a hard time hiding them? I tried tucking them but some still peeking.

I have been practicing this method on my head for a little while now. I’m still trying to get better with tucking my hair in better. I just feel like the gel never wants to lay my hair done right and I also have trouble parting on my own.

It would have been helpful if you actually show step by step how to install the braids for a few of the braids. Neat, however; I think it was done to show person who can already braid.
