More Puerto Rican videos please!!! I am Puerto Rican but my family migrated to Hawaii which caused our culture to get lost throughout generations... I love watching your Puerto Rican videos!!
I’m a Puerto Rican from Chicago your channel popped up on my UA-cam and I’m glad it did it’s amazing how Puerto Ricans come in different colors different shapes. Keep up the good work I enjoy your content I’m a subscriber now. Go Boricua......
Love the energy and attitude! Many Blessings !💕
Great video, everything was on point. You should make a part 2, there's so many more words. Zafacon, al garete, embuste, sangano/a, presea, ... I love our culture. ❤ 🇵🇷
Lol this is hilarious!! I love it ❤️🇵🇷🇵🇷❤️Go Ash and Chelsea
You girls are hilarious. I did learn a new word "Cochear" and it brought me back to many years ago and very similar story of the young lady with the red blazer. My daughter must have been 12/13 yrs old and I told her something and she suck her teeth at me, girls I gave her such a back slap in her mouth that she never cocheo again, LOL.
Loved your segment. WEPA!
Que Flow , traen las jibaritas de Borinquen
LOVE this video! Very entertaining, very thorough, informative and, of course, you two are a sight for sore eyes - que bellas, mi gente Borinqueña!! Gorgeous! And I love me some "pegao".
Quick comment. "Acho" is short for "Chacho" is short for "muchacho" and basically is exactly equal to "dude".
How about "tacaño", "chamaco", el "guille", "ponchop", "roofo", "tiroteo", (I know that I'm showing my age now)
Both so pretty! X
You two are hoottttt!! Thanks for the video!
Yooo Ti Tree killed me with that😂 love love love this video❤️
Love the vid, any top PR restaurants in NY to check out during a visit?
Thank you for setting the record straight! “We can roll our R’s, we may choose not to, but we can roll our R’s”! Hilarious video! You just just got a new subscriber! And I’m currently trying to learn Spanish (dad’s side is PR but no one speaks Spanish).
Good video ladies! Thanks
This is so much more helpful than most corny Spanish tutorial videos on UA-cam. I’m learning but also being entertained so thank you I’m going to stay tuned to learn more. Keep the videos coming and maybe get some PR guys in there for some Eye candy for us girls.. you both are so pretty. The PR parade is not what it used to be. The entire sidewalks used to be open, now they block off every 2-3 blocks.. I get it from a crowd control nypd perspective but it’s sad to me that the people who attend now will never know how much fun and interactive the parade once was.. much like how NYE is now full of too many NYPD rules.. no wonder every time I meet young ppl they don’t want to go out. I’m a young 41 and times have changed so much especially in NYC in 15-20 years
Lmfao I loved it!! Your mom has me dying!!! You girls are awesome! ♥️♥️♥️

Fo is also used in Las Canarias. Many Puertorrican words com from there. We also get our accent from Canary Islands because the Spaniards that came from Spain were from the Canary Islands. It's not ghetto, it's an a beautiful accent. Come mierda= bull shitter. Acho short for chacho which is short for muchacho. Chevere also used in other Latin American countries. I think it may also be used in Las Canarias. You girls son bien simpaticas. Viva Puerto Rico!

U guys should have added the word "chereo" i wonder what it means i've heard it in some songs but i can't find the meaning. in a sentence it would be like "Diablo que chereo". I'd like to what chereo means. anyway great vid Ashley.
My mom hit mi with the rice spoon for talking back to her. She threw it across the kitchen to the living room and split my eyebrow. Then she cried and said no me hables pa tra

Talon,traffic Jam(p)
Nena Se Dice, Pelaaaa, no tiene chavo.
Estas PELAAAA
los colombianos tambien les llaman pegao.
Yo Girls are fun!
but you got to give the people the root word and understanding the expression
A. For instance brutal" (English)hard =example-a brutal beating!
brutal for Spanish
That's something that is tough negative expression used to express something good
Like something bad means good
Chévere is Latin Italian base word good or excellent"
there are over 2,000 words or more that are Arabs which makes Spanish very unique from Italian a hybrid language which will make it difficult for Italians to understand though they are similar
Southern Spain was under Arab rule for 800 years
I am a New York Rican so I'm laughing at how my people are translate into words and not giving its root derivative,,lol all love😁😁😘
Deberías decir “bandera” 😂😂😂 🇵🇷
You left out a few phrases 1. cocotazo and 2. cojelo con el take it easy.
Sorry to break it to you but neither of you sound like a Boricua from “la isla” when you speak Spanish. For some reason when Boricuas move to the mainland and Speak more English than Spanish, y’all forget how we pronounce some words, not to mention our intonation/melody. An example is how we pronounce the “s” in some words. You say: “Me guta como habla” (kinda like Dominicans) instead of: “Me gujta como hablaj”.
But you do sound more from the island than your friend
My accent is stronger when I’m on my island. I’ll probably never sound like straight off the island because I was born and raised here in NYC. The most important thing is that I know my language and I love and always represent my culture.
Ashley has more of an accent for sure. I was also born and raised in the Bronx but thanks for the feedback :)
