While mine had a few differences, I wouldn't have attempted the project without your video. Everything came out great. Replaced all 4 studs and new wheel and shes out cutting again. Thank you for the guidance.
Just had a problem similar to this on a kubota mower... TORQUE VALUES checked at regular intervals!! would not hurt to go with longer studs with flat and lock washers thank you and be well
Thanks for the video. Very helpful. Question. Do you need to remove the drum? It seems that I can slide the new studs through the back without removing and then tighten using the method you used by tightening the nut to pull the stud through. What are your thoughts?
Hope you see this. HELP.... We need your assistance. We have the exact issue. Following your direction but we can not get the hub off. Have a 3 point wrench but HUB is not moving. shaft of wrench is starting to bend. Any suggestions??
Are you on Lake Ontario? I just got back from a fishing trip at Henderson Harbor. We caught a lot of lake trout and a few king salmon. How do you find out if your rims are recalled? I have a Toro, they look the same.
doublewide6 Repairs LLC nope, lake Erie. Just upstream of Niagara Falls. Did you see in the vid where I pointed out the dimples in the rim? If yours don't have them, chances are they're faulty and need to be replaced. But they are dim my World Lawn mowers. You have an ExMark don't you?
I no longer have the exmark I have a toro z master. I saw the dimple on the rims that you were talking about I guess I need to pull the tire to look for the dimples.
I had the same exact problem - I cut off stud, removed the cotter pin and tried to remove the slotted nut. I don't have a socket big enough to fit it, so tried using a large crescent wrench but it will not budge. Started searching the internet and found this video but you left out the part I needed to see :-) Did you use a socket to remove the nut and if so, what size? Are there any tricks to removing that nut?
Yes, I made another video a few weeks ago where it happened again to a different rim. I have a socket big enough. I think it was 1 1/8" or 1 1/4". Mine came right off with an impact

Cory Fredericks yes, they were gonna order a new one because that one came damaged. But I took it anyways because where the dent is, it doesn't cause any issues

I have a hub on a zero turn that won’t budge. Broke puller trying. Any recommendations I don’t want to use heat if at all possible.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was just World Lawn that had the issue. But it doesn't hurt to check. Could save you a bunch of money
What size is that big nut on the axle
very niiiice ty for the vid
Is it anyway to take it off without the three way?
chris homes maybe, but that's what I had.

It was actually a 1 1/2" socket.

@ 6:26 is your new rim bent?

When you replaced a studs your always supposed to go with a bigger size you never go back with the original
