This blaster is my absolute favourite, it functionally fits almost every mod I have ever put on it, I turned mine into an Alpha AK with all russian parts :)
Also, I have a question. The GSW had his t-shirts, and I can buy Low Guido a coffee. How can we all help support this channel Brad. What your doing is great man.
Great work on the vids Brad, be great if you could get rid of the mic at some point. Was hoping to pick up one of these but TE is all sold out. Keep it up mate!
You can slide a 11.1v stick battery in the receiver through under the iron sights into the wooden handguard that way you can still have that metal receiver cover on it and still have room for another battery and still have a blowback.
Got one of these from Azreals Armoury. Great tac edge is now delivering to SA. I really enjoy using this blaster. Hefty feel and reliable - thus far at least. Also removed the blowback and use it with stock folded.
Mad idea with the battery brad this is just a thought but it is safe but if and I know it’s only an if, the battery fizzes out and leaks a bunch of battery acid into your gearbox which I’ve seen happen multiple times to equally confused people who all thought it wouldn’t. That would suck. Ps if you tune a hop up properly you can manipulate the shots to get some great accuracy.
hi, can i ask you what is the best face/eye protection against sword larp pvp? if we do light touches the best i could find was a fencing mask others were too risky and what do u recommend as a protection against gel blasters
Hey can I have some help with something when you edit your videos and you shoot someone with a Joe blaster how do you get the Hitmaka because I want to edit some videos of me playing gel soft and I want to be able to do the Hitmaka thing but I don’t know how to so can you tell me please
The specs on Azraels and TEH sites state these have a 7.5 mm inner barrel. In the video. you said they come stock with a 7.3 mm barrel. They also only have a half-metal rack piston that needs changing to a full metal rack before it strips out. ;-)
@@BradleyPhillipsYT Both retailers state it is a 7.5 barrel. I just measured the one I pulled out of mine and replaced.... it is 7.5mm, so you must have a special one ;-) Many people have changed the pistons since The Vague Strategist highlighted the issue with the APS AKs, Yours is new,
I now own 21 rifles, ranging from $250 - $2250. This is in my top 3. Like the real thing, they just keep going. Thanks for the tips. We appreciate all the work you do for us but have you considered doing a 20M or even 15M accuracy test aswell ?
@@toughnut9734 Its a Gelblaster. It uses gelball ammo. Unfortunately airsoft is illegal in Australia. pretty much the same thing but after 15 meters gelblasters lose accuracy. and it gets worse the farther away the target is. this loss is all due to the gelball itself. its definitely worth getting barrel upgrades etc and researching the best particular gelball (hardness, weight etc) for the blaster your using. barrel length, fps and other factors can greatly affect the various ammos, and therefore range, accuracy.
You guys have rules on how fast your dart guns can shoot???, hopefully the rules for the bolt action snipers are different than the rules for everyone else. No one is getting hurt with a Nerf dart no matter how fast it’s going lol. The snipers should be about to use 500fps while the full auto people should only be able to use 300fps.
@@BradleyPhillipsYTthat's right, it is AKS-74 (from Russian Автомат Калашникова складной 1974 года выпуска, lit. Kalashnikov automatic rifle with folding stock, 1974 release). It was a standard rifle of soldiers in airborne troops.
The AK-74m would be the modernized version of the AK-74, notably with polymer furniture and multiple revisions, including an improved muzzle device and lighter components. This is more reminiscent of an AKS-74, which was designed with this style of a folding stock for airborne use iirc.
I don't understand why it's called an "AK-74U" when it's not that. Anyways, a funny thing is that in Europe we consider AKs made by APS some of the worst ones on the market. But I can imagine how Australians are jumping high in the air from the genuine excitement they got from this gun.
@@blastingmariachi4492 No. I'm looking at a standard AKS-74N: A - Avtomat (automatic gun) K - Kalashnikova (of Kalashnikov) S - Skladnoy (folding) N - Nochnoy (night; scope dovetail) What you are suggesting is: U - Ukorochenniy (shortened) M - Modernizirovanniy (modernised) First up, this gun isn't shortened. It has a full length barrel. So you can't use the "U". Second up, a short version with a full non-folding stock never existed. So you are missing the "S". Loving the Gorka.

rip they no longer have AK's on their site, only in physical stores
It looks cool!
Thats sick!!!
If it wasn’t for the incorrect style mag I would have had one a long time ago.
Another nice vid. Is "got him" going to be your version of Jet Desert Fox's "tango down"? 😅
Not usually a fan of AK's but THAT is sexy as hell especially with that sight attached, really nice
Not an AK fan but this blaster looks promising

I have a lapel mic but a microphone like this one has better audio quality
Hey brad what’s the stock spring size, and also what size did you put into it for milsims?
Did you check with armoured heaven for the RX mags?
Wait! Thats not a AK-74U, its a AKS-74. Still a nice video!
Hi brad, is there a good scope I can get for the M20 construct. I saw in the videos u used the scope. where can I get it. I live in the AU, Vic
You can slide a 11.1v stick battery in the receiver through under the iron sights into the wooden handguard that way you can still have that metal receiver cover on it and still have room for another battery and still have a blowback.
Would have to be a very tiny battery. My Turnigy would not fit.
It wouldn't be that tiny. It's really common to put battery there on airsoft AKs.

Hi mate. You can get a hopup that looks exactly like that tip at m4a1
Nice, might have to check it out.
Other option is an ak74u type from digitowl3d.. Doesn't look like that one.
If they gave a 45° gas block replacement than you could keep the stock mag and wam bam you have a 47
Where can I buy blasters like these in the US? Thanks!

I've always done 30M because Nerf never misses at that distance so it allows comparison with gel
@@BradleyPhillipsYT OK, fair enough. I understand now. Never done the Nerf thing (yet) but from what i can see, at 30M, there is no comparison. Haha.

I've been looking at these for quite some time, just, y'know, I'm broke.
Could you make vid about rx aks74u? I really waiting this gun. Tks very much!
Interesting how retracting the stock makes the blaster look and act like a machine pistol. 👍
thered a gas blowback version of this on ihobby
Is protection for the teeth not necessary??
No
what kind of metal is it made of ? steel ? iron ? aluminum ? or just some weird ass alloy ?
All they say is "metal" so one would assume aluminium.
Is the body magnetic ?
I watched some other APS ak videos, some of them said it's made of steel / iron sheets. I'm so confused ...
Mostly steel, most is highly magnetic on mine
Does RX magazine fit APS AK74?
Yes
