Code didn’t work :( is it for specific items?
Is this code still valid for the sniper gun
Excuse me I’ve got a question. My gel blaster place only allows 350 FPS maximum. How do I get this sniper rifle to go down to that or less
awesome mate
0:10
I’m in vic and have always wondered how my metal long shot and metal xzues would stand up to gelball. Awesome content and perfectly answered just what I was randomly looking for.
My Worker Swift is coming soon and I am so stoked!!
bro how did you get one
Thanks for doing this video, one of the things I dislike most about gel blaster retailers is they never show accuracy. I know none are extremely accurate but some are horrendously bad.
Great video Brad. Glad that I didn't waste my money on any of those gel snipers. Still happy with my Swift, cheaper the price, double the performance. BTW, I bought my Swift after watching your video. Thanks mate.
Sadly, I did :(…. And I don’t have money for any other blasters now
It does indeed look amazing. I'm so glad I found your channel.
It's interesting that Airsoft sniper vids probably bring people to gel ball but trying to snipe with a gel ball is more unlike that experience, as opposed to Airsoft aegs to gel blaster aegs.
As always, great vid.
The reason people can snipe in Airsoft is because snipers are allowed higher fps in the rule sets. They can also choose to use heavier BBs which leads to more accuracy.
Thanks for your knowledge Brad i gotta agree it's satisfying especially with the cool looking camo suit this was without a hopup i gather
I tried both with and without, this was the better of the two.
Thank you very much for your latest review. As you say, it looks really great. And for me, the bolt action is most appealing! But I think I'd need to have a barn door to aim at if I had hopes of any accuracy. I'm sad about this. So it's back to nerf research.
noooo not nerf :(
@@rheyza4475 In South Australia it's a legal matter.
Surely a lot of the inaccuracy is due to using gels and not due to the fact of the blaster being made by Wells. I'd be curious to see what bbs would be like. I can't wait for the day airsoft becomes legal in Australia. Wishful thinking perhaps but we all can dream.
I watched the test video on it… it was the first time I actually considered getting a gel sniper rifle.
3:20 I was thinking since the gel balls are so light, It's probably not going to be that accurate, I would use steel bearings instead or use something to thicken up the water just a little bit to give the gel balls a little bit more weight like maybe add a bit of powder or something 🤔
Great shot grouping comparison pics - thanks!
problem with this sniper is due to it having 2 inner barrels which causes them vibrate badly, i'm upgrading my inner barrel to a stainless steel barrel (one hole part) to stop that with supports cause you could see what was happening when you were firing the balls, they were going all over the place. Also the barrel end tip always need to be screwed in to minimize that vibration and you took it off and put a hop-up their which made your vibration worse as it acts as a stabilizer. Gel balls also have a part in this since their so light but the grouping does improve when you eliminate that vibration
I actually used a stabiliser inside to centre the barrel so there was no movement or vibration, similar to what the end cap does but obviously without the end cap.
Where did you get the one piece barrel from? And does anyone else piston have a rubber on it??
@@traviscrawford2504 you can get entire stainless steel inner barrel from TEH, CEH
@@Mr_Tea_Rexx thank you very much mate.
@@traviscrawford2504 all good mate :)
Great channel mate. Really good. You deserve the blaster.
What scope are you running on this, how much is it, and what scopes do you recommend for fitting this gun?
Seems that it is flying to the left? And i think the accuracy is too inconsistent for sniping, i rather use a normal gel blaster tbh
could you do a comparison between the Remington MSR and the MB05?
Ok my airsoft co2 blowback 1911 can shoot just the same using .25 gram bbs for 135 bucks, and airsoft bbs are super consistent and cheap. I even bought a 107 dollar co2 airsoft revolver that could shoot even more accurately(.25s) and a 98 dollar bbtac sniper that shot the same(.32s) it just doesn’t make sense
Yeah, gel ball is pretty inaccurate and costs more than Airsoft. Unfortunately Airsoft is illegal in some places which is why gel ball exists.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT it’s unfortunate that it isn’t, although Australia is much more about guns and lookalikes more than belgium or the US
These look good, i have a vsr10 converted to gels with a co2 bolt but waiting for harder gels to be made lol. But still going to get one of these as they look like they perform very well
There's no one making plastics bbs for this blasters?
@@Frambhueee maybe 8mm bbs can work
A 9/32" plastic ball is 7.144mm. Might work with a aftermarket 7.2mm barrel. Still though, the hop up in the Airsoft version of this is *inside* the rifle and it is different to a gel blaster hop up. I do wonder if you could buy one of these MB05s and then get the Airsoft barrel and hop up in from NZ or UK or US. Completely illegal but if you could pull it off you could use standard 6mm aisoft pellets
@@WilkieaSt Hey mate, yeah I end up buying a inner barrel and hopup for my vsr10 from overseas and it now shoots easy over 100m with 6mm bbs
@@michaelbowron8379 this is amazing! Any problems getting them in from over seas? Is there any way I can message you? It won't let me leave an email address here. I'd love to ask you a couple of quick questions. I've been wanting to convert one of these MB05s back to Airsoft (they are sold as an Airsoft version overseas)
It does look cool!
Great content mate
It still baffles me that a properly fitted hopup is not part of each and every gel blaster sold. An actual designed for propose hopup from the company that made the blaster. Instead, we fork out hundreds of dollars and then start fixing the woeful accuracy. It’s actually a real let down when such a sweet looking piece of kit turns out to be a bit of a dud.
Thank god the vsr 10 has a built in one
Does this model have hop up system?
I was surprised you left comments on
I was very disappointed to see that a $450 Sniper rifle accuracy is that bad...
me to can buy a air rifle for same price and have groups the size of a 20cent coin.
dude me too
You now understand bullets matter.
@@BogDustForBreakfast try plinking humans with that and come back here
@@mmwkoh dont be mad that i have a opinion
the first 4 hits were the first 4 shots. Looks like something changed after that?
My MSR with a simple Spring upgrade, shoots around 390fps ..plus it looks better.. nice blaster though, and mine MSR hits the target at 35 mtrs 9 times out of ten .
What spring did you put in it
hello, where can buy this gel sniper?
In this video you have a black barrel for the swift? Which one is that?
It's an outer barrel and suppressor which covers the usual barrel inside.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT thanks bud 👍
What scope models are these?
Hey Bradley. Have you seen Zhenduo's Rubber Balls that can fit into gel blasters? I'd gladly order them to make you a video about it. It's coming from China but. If you're keen. Let me know :D. You have the best test videos on the internet for blasters.
Hi noodle Hunter could you please tell me where to get the Zhenduo's rubber balls from
Is it possible to install a new longer barrel that protrudes past the end cap which supports the barrrel. Then place a hop up onto that extended barrel
You'd have to drill the end cap out as it's designed to hold the current barrel in.
Your reviews are superb! Would you make a group review comparing the Nerf blasters?
I should say the Nerf blasters in this category - the Caliburn, SABRE, Lynx, Swift, SBL, FTEC1, TC, Nexus Pro, Aeon, Prophecy, etc.
did you use a hop up when you tested this?
Yes sure did
Which hopup did you use ?
Where do I get this sniper I can find it anywhere
Was the hopup angled left? Some weird flight paths going on.
Some shots also went right. It's the inconsistency of gel ball.
Some 'hit' right. They all 'went' left. (Like bats from a cave)
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
CRAZY
5:58 almost hit the camera 😅 I was like nooooo
Can you do a test using rubber bullets for gel blaster. Just wanna know how accurate it is
Not sure on the legalities of that to be honest. Think it's best not to.
When you take a Nerf blaster to a gel ball game, does anyone there feel you're being unfair by using the Nerf?
Not really, do flywheel players think it's unfair when you use a springer? Well gel blasters are better than flywheel
Congratulations. That actually made zero sense. Lmao
Nice gun Rick Astley 👍
Can't believe you didn't mention the 300 caliburn
Are these Fly By Night Companies?
These are not anywhere to be found. Its a problem with everything i find and search for
heaps of gel ball retailers are, you can probably find something at ihobby but they're still a bit dodgy
would be nice if they envelope a new gel bullet shape to get better performance for long shoots, maybe some like nerf bullet shape in gel... if it is possible of course...
makes the nerf blasters look real good
That's why people use them
Yeah. I think nerf is actually the answer to "I need an accurate gel blaster".
Is it possible to shotgun load a gel sniper? Might actually hit something
Definitely can
The reason it was turning because of the wind
Maybe try longer barrel
make a Video On How strong Is Nylon Gel Blastee
Sniper riffles are all about permission. This gel blaster isn't. The round is all over the place, it's consistency is horrible. The "nerf" type blaster on consistency is something that you should end up shooting. Hell even airsoft bb's from other videos have better consistency and accuracy.
Shooting range(firing is a term used for powder weapons only) you don’t fire an air gun you shoot it
maybe a bit lower FPS will get a bit better accuracy?
Possible, 400fps might be a little high for gel accuracy
Get heavier gels if that exists.
Have you managed to fix the acretsy
Wtffff 🤣
these aren't banned in oz? i know queensland went nazi on these some time backo
You know if what u say is true about it being judged of the weight of the water in the gel ball then u could try letting gel balls absorb milk cause it weighs more than water hence the gel ball should weigh more and fire further
Ooof ill just play with bbs that fire straight thanks.
I think we need to stop trying to compare GB to airsoft. Accuracy, range etc for BG’s just suck. Maybe one day we’ll get to the same Airsoft standard

Freeze the fell balls
brad is ABS plastic polymer not nylon
Fair enough, for this use case ABS is probably better anyway.

This vid just game me an idea for some roeason biy a gell gun and use bb bullets in spain u could just buy an ak in the chinese store but yeah in the netherlands u cant do shit witch is kinda sad
If it's a well. Well then you should put it in the bin
ok airsift is banned in Australia how. you have people with real guns why do they have a problem i dont get it. what is it moral panic.
Very inconsistent hop up behaviour. Like the balls are sticky in the barrel.
Christ, you may as well throw a rock, more accurate and infinitely cheaper !
Test snipers from 40-60 meters
Most wouldn't make it that far especially gel blasters.
Double bell shell ejecting gas kar98k better than this sniper rifle though not practical in a real game.
To be fair, none are really practical in an actual game. Accuracy is the same as an AEG. It's all about having fun.
Playing with bolties is a lot of fun and is challenging especially in airsoft. For gels, get an aeg. I haven't seen a good bolty and had friends mod their brains out just to get one to no avail
i dont really get these like i do kinda i knows in some country's laws can be stupid, but they dont seem very good compared to air soft they seem more of a kids toy and even airsoft is kinda just a toy. like if your going to get one of these things you might as well just get a bright toy looking thing give it to the kids with some eye protection on and go play. like 30 meter range and this is a sniper jobby and its doing shite. i cant see adults having fullblown military type airsift/paintball games with them although i expect they do. they seem massive in china and Australia im guessing your laws suck i know chinas are well over the top.
That real is pretty average for a class of blaster that theroretically should be the most accurate out of any style of gelsoft blaster available. Watching the trajectory of the gels, one could equate it to being the equivelent of a high powered long range rival ball with a 1in 5 chance of it remotely hitting a moving target let alone a static one. Stick to NERF Brad where the blaster is actually functional and accurate. I agree it does look hyper real and very cool, but thats not its function, hitting a target is what it is designed to do, and it is not good at it.
The fact of the matter is all gel balls weigh the same, so no matter what is shooting them the same peak accuracy would be achieved whether that's bolt action sniper or full auto AEG.
In Airsoft fields allow higher fps/joules limits to bolt action rifles, so those players opt for heavier BBs which results in better accuracy. Not an option in gel ball unfortunately.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT I know this to be very true Bradley as an ex Airsoft retailer from before Port Arthur happened. I still have .2-g.8g BB's here from the real old days. As for gel getting heavier ammo, your right it wont happen, but they can just keep making em harder so they deform less to improve the trajectory. But still Snipers in Gelsoft, looks cool, but still are very useles in the peek and spray sport your now in.
here in malaysia, we are proud to have this gel blaster as airsoft unavailable here as our country make it illegal... gel blaster also illegal here but it available through online store. so we still can own it illegally.. also have to play with it secrectly or we could be charge with posession of firearm immitation, illegal millitary or millitant training... that is my country... we play it as sport but they charge us with that... lead to prison and fine....
so, eventhough gel blaster is not as accurate as airsoft, we malaysian proud to he able to own one... i own L96 that can shot accurate at 10 meter and after 15 meter the ball drop rappidly... so i usually play and shot like artillery or cattapult😅... need a lot of practice but sometime hit someone behind cover🤣...
i just want springer sniper airsoft😙
The majority of gel blasters can be converted to airsoft, if you're already breaking the law breaking it a bit more isn't going to change much. The first gel blaster sniper I bought could load bb's out of the mag without modification, and all I did was replace the inner barrel with an airsoft one and use the end of a pen as the loading nozzle. There's a video on UA-cam somewhere documenting the process.
The majority of people break laws daily, they deem them as stupid laws and they shouldn't be followed. Those who say that we shouldn't modify gel blasters because it's the law are hypocrites. If a law isn't meant to be broken, NO law should be broken.
You’d get about the same accuracy just throwing them😆
Great video . defiantly not as accurate as i would have thought . ill stick to my Air Rifle . thanks for the video
Interesting choice of skirmish weapon
@@BradleyPhillipsYT I play with real guns thought this may have been some extra fun . But it’s really aimed at kids I think . Each to their own .
@@BogDustForBreakfast i PlAy wItH rEAl gUnz
Good luck shooting people with your "toys". I have an armory of real steel here and I have twice the amount for airsoft, some of which are borderline air rifles. Shooting plates with real steel is great but shooting lots of people and getting shot at with gel blasters and airsoft is better. Stop flexing your crap on these kind of vids.
You cannot Hit a Cat on that accuracy 😑
I can’t take him seriously when he wears a ghillie suit to shoot in a backyard. Otherwise not a bad video.
That was a skirmish field
@@BradleyPhillipsYT haha ok dude I apologise and take it back.
My M40 is more accurate than that cost me$75
Gel ball shooting at 400 fps sucks.. gel free fly not accurate. No sniper xprience
Put a scar on it
You know what it don't get is why the hell are jel blaster producer's trying to be like airsoft or paintball?
Airsoft will always be more accurate then a jel blaster and your nerf blasters are more accurate then this jel blaster sniper.
Jel blasters have potential they really do. But them trying to be a hybrid of paintball and airsoft is just plain stupid.
Instead of a round jel ball, why not a jel shaped nerf dart?
I think it's better when molding factory tiny gel granules to try using lead pellets of 3-4.5 mm as the basis of ammunition (Gamo Round has a weight of 0.5 grams, I'm too lazy to translate into pounds)).
Theoretically, in this way the composite ammunition for a sniper rifle can be weighted up to 1 gram, and shoot at ~ a third of the speed up to 150Fps or about 200Fps with a drive upgrade .. (approximately in the speed range for paintballs).
At the same time, the flight path of the orbiz will be even more "mortar" and the barrel will have to be lifted up as when using an underbarrel grenade launcher at a distance of 40-50m ..😅
About as accurate as my golf swing. 😅
ALL Gel Blasters suffer terrible , terrible accuracy, after buying and modding quite a few ,I gave up on them! lol ,A gun that cant hit what your aiming at is just useless
After deploying to Afghanistan, paintball has lost its appeal lol
So in other words, it was absolute crap, but it looked good while being absolute crap.
Gel snipers are absolute garbage, nerf way better.
Because gel blasters arent built for snipers, they are built for automatic fire smooth brain.
More a case of gel blasters can't rather than built for a purpose. You have to fire a good burst just hit anything with a gel blaster even at short distances.
Agreed. and there is very little accuracy even in the AEG's. Gel just got banned here in WA, and its so funny watching guys try and play nerf like gel... Gel is peek and spray to maybe get a hit with the 250 rounds you have in a mag. Nerf requires patience and a skilled shooter to get it right with a well built blaster with very limited real ammo limits to your mags. So enjoying wrecking the Gel boys atm with my Nerf Sniper that leaves Bradleys M20 for dead in range and accuracy with less power.
Absolutely agreed, nerfers use less ammo, and would absolutely wreck gel ballers if they tried to use realistic blasters 😂 any dipstick can shoot 30 gel balls and tag someone, it takes skill to play nerf
