Is Renogy's new 220W Solar suitcase the ultimate offgrid portable panel? Renogy have developed a product which in my opinion is one of the best portable solar panels I have used. Compact, portable, durable and lightweight. This ticks all the boxes that any traveller is after.
Check it out here - au.renogy.com/...
All these opinions are my own. Renogy did supply the panel for review, however this is not a paid review.
When considering purchasing any product, you need to make an informed decision based on what your needs and wants are.

From June 12th to July 3rd, Renogy is celebrating 14th Renogy Day with a bang! They’re rolling out five solution scenarios: RV, Off-Road, Farm, Shed/Workshop, and Marine. As a token of Renogy’s appreciation, you can use the unconditional code BRANDDAY100 for an additional $100 off their newest 400W Lightweight Portable Solar Suitcase

Excellent video!!!...from a newbie wandering if 220w (prime deal $369), will work with bluetti AC70 1000w?. Thinkng of buying the 200W but for some reason no one has any reviews.

I bought the 400 watt version of this (to supplement the 350 watts on the roof - not quite enough for me) and have been very impressed with the performance. On a sunny mid-winter day my setup gets 35 amps stable continuous charge (the flexible panels on the roof could do with a clean, though). My whole build is Renegy and it's been rock solid for two years of van life.

That’s great news. I did a full install of there gear on a previous van and it’s was perfect

The only usage con of this unit is the short, unadjustable legs. 32° is where I'm at so leaning them on a couple of camp chairs worked to get them to 32°.
Early July, sunny day on south coast South Australia, 11am, output of max 24.3v, 162w - gotta be happy with that.
Like most things these days RV/camping nothing from the factory seems to come perfect. Two out of four panels had 10c piece size areas covered in some kind of rubber. Took some rubbing off but eventually got most of it off. Doesn't seem to effect output. The industry needs to get its QC up to scratch.

Yeh for sure. Manufacturers need to get real campers to do testing prior to releasing the products.

I just bought mine and when it came in my wires in the middle two panels got stuck and pinched badly. I had to return it as I knew the wire would be damaged. There is some quality control issues and possibly Amazon selling returns as new when they are damaged or defective. $600 you expect that each system should have been opened and closed to make sure the wires go through the grommets. The 2 end panels worked fine but the middle wire would not slide like it should. Also the packing material could have been better, the handle was all scuffed up because there is no padding for the handle. I do wonder if they send out checked models to review?

Sorry to hear. It’s possible they QC panels they send for review. For $600 you expect better.

i would definitely post that question to renogy. May buy one prime day & would be peeved off if amazon sent used products.

Easy to prop the legs on some upturned plant pots or make an extension.

I've bought a small sitting stool leg kit with extendable legs and will 3D print clips to join ext legs onto panel legs, but we shouldn't have to do that. This isn't rocket science and the end user shouldn't be doing Renogy's upgrades. I'd pay the extra $50 to get a panel for all latitudes.
