Mr Bean’s Mini was a basic Austinmini NOT a Mini Cooper!
The badge actually states Mini 1000.
Coopers had I believe 1275 cc engine, his is 997 I believe, had a few (3) in the 90s, fat wheels small steering wheel, eyelashes on the headlights lots of chrome one resprayed in Renault azure blue, the other in Ribeena berry purple, got permission to use the berrys and name as a logo from ribeena but after I’d sold it, great cars 👍🏻

Technically, the Mini was sold under both "Austin" and "Morris" marque names. And it's disputed as to which Mr Bean's was, as they had a few of them and would often swap parts over. The only thing that IS know, is that it was a base model. However, Rowan Atkinson himself has owned a Mini Cooper... So, whoever done this video is probably getting ends mixed up.

Opening scene is from an Indy car shop in Komoka, ON when they did cars and coffee about 5 or 6 years ago - NOT ONE of those cars are Atkinson's.

If he really did 40,000 miles in his F1 that must be one of the highest milage ones. BTW there was only about 100 built. So a very very special car.

It’s NOT a cooper it’s British Leyland mini, (one of the best) says so on the badge of bonnet and boot

To make it clear. Rowan Atkinson attended to classic car races with his Ford Falcon Sprint and it had the original untouched engine of 260 cui 164 hp engine in it. He was the only one that had an american car in these races and he raced BMW, Morris Minor, Mini, Volvo and so on from the same era and these races was weight to ratio-classified so the races would be fair play.
The European cars could acctually hook up with Atkinson on the straights but when it came to corners it was the torque of the V8 that let Atkinson win many races with his Ford Falcon Sprint.
He was even interviewed about his Ford Falcon on European Top Gear, this means even if his car was stripped as a racing car the engine had to be original. So the narrator got that completely right.
But it isn't easy for you people that doesn't know the entire facts about his Ford Falcon Spirit, saying that the narrator got it wrong and bla bla bla. No this time he was right.

That Merc at 1:46 is simply a Merc from Wiesbaden, Germany (as per its licence plate!) - and it's not Rowan Atkinson driving it.

The Falcon would have more power than stated however it has to conform to England's HSCC Historic Road Sports Championship Regulations (5.7) so only minor modifications are permitted to the engine.
There were '2' Bean Mini's.
Firstly, in the pilot episode it was a 1969 Morris Mini Mk1 in orange, modified with Mk2 Grille and lights with black stripes (BLCV478)
Then the green one, (SLW287R/YAN939T)
1980 Austin Morris Mini 1000
(There were a few cars used for filming, all modified to appear similar)
(The Movie cars used 3 others)
NONE of the Mini's were a John Cooper Special!

I met Rowan in the late 1980's when I was living in London and he lived in the same street I was working in. Back then he was into Aston Martins and sold them for a lot more than he paid for them. I still don't think he is funny though.
