(I make all the tracks. They're all on my discord and bandcamp.)
I said I would never do it, but here we are
QOTD: What is something wacky you want in Borderlands 4?
a midget dlc.
Sword Guns, Actual Swords with Gun Type Attachments.
May not sound wacky, but imagine the wacky stuff you can do when you upslash a enemy in the air with the sword and then you switch with ur gun attachment and shoot them while airborne making a combo or just abusing the upslash to stun enemies in the air
Melee oriented weapons with different abilities and elements, and can scale to op levels would be pretty cool and funny, give them different voicelines from vh's depending who's using them too. Or very random but taming enemies with food or guns as a way to tame people/bait them into being friendly for a little while
I want you to be an Easter egg or reference in it!
Ngl I'm kinda sad I couldn't be there for the stream because twitch is being weird both on mobile and on pc and I got a very decent internet connection so but yea your welcome for that 20 bomb the other day man!
I'd want actually viable melee weapons. The Tiny Tina game could have done so much more with it. I want stuff like a Tediore axe that after so many hits the head of the axe flies off towards the enemy and explodes. Or Dahl swords that are designed like old military sabers.(Cant wait for the Roguelands playthrough btw it looks awesome)
I agree
@@Joltzdude139 same
If they introduce melee weapons in BL4, Torgue melee weapons should be explosives that you smack people over the head with that have a chance to explode, like TF2's Ullapool Caber
yeeees an actual melee slot like wonderlands would be so cool!
Bandit would hard carry melee
Something I've always wanted in borderlands is an in-game radio like fallout with licensed music. Would make running side quests a little less monotonous
ATOD: Honestly, id love a "hybrid" system like BL1 but for any combo of guns, almost like randomiser, itd be so cool to find an infinity-butcher or something insane like that!
(Also really looking forwards to this series!!)
Heck yes dude, I'd love hybrids back
They would need to make that stuff super rare
That’s not what borderlands is.. it’s a farmable game, not complex random.
@@leveledup1nce ??????????????
@@chachingboy1 imagine trying to farm the DPUH, but you have 1000 different combos to roll through for the exact one you want (optimal version for your build.)
Guns that do more damage, but you take chip damage while firing. Moxxie melee weapons. Dedicated rocket jumping weapons. A grenade mod that disables grenades, but gives you some sort of perm buff while its equipped. Bring back lasers, but they are actually good. A double jump or wall kick. Rare collectable boss pets that only follow you around. Mega rare legendaries. A big gun that takes up your whole entire screen.
Bfg 9000 clone lol
> Bring back lasers, but they are actually good
Bruh they’re the best weapon type in TPS
AOTD: I always loved the idea of having a wereskag as a vault hunter, and instead of having the wereskag as a timed Action skill like buzzaxe rampage have it be a transformation where a bunch of your perks change depending on what form you're in. Like a skill that gives better accuracy and reload while in human form but more movement speed and melee damage in wereskag form.
Super unique idea. Love it!
Like the Diablo 4 druid?
A few things I would like for borderlands 4; the main thing being that every gun manufacturer has all the gun types (and also reintroduce the laser gun from the pre-sequal), like an Atlas shot gun that can either lock onto multiple enemies or have all the pellets hit one enemy(and also be elemental, not like only legendaries), Vladof SMGs, Torgue SMGs, Hyperion assault rifles, and so on. And also the grinder feature should be back, since the grinder from the pre-sequal was kinda dope, ngl
And I guess one more thing would be to have like some kind of rougelike mode in it, not like as in a modifier, but rather as like it's own separate mode where you could get really good loot from it for the main game itself (even if it means it would probably be made to become a DLC feature or something)
@@alexm6653don’t forget the Eridian Weapons from the first game.
Also I would like to see new weapon archetypes like the bow. Hell bring back the crossbow parts from Wonderlands as well.
I enjoyed the fact that every manufacturer had every type of weapon in BL1. Now that manufacturer gimmicks are a lot more front-and-center, I’ve been thinking about the concept of a unique Bandit Sniper which I’ve been calling “H00krr” which would essentially just be a grappling hook. Wherever the projectile lands, you are pulled there (including into enemies’ faces).
Not to be pedantic, but im pretty sure each manufacturer had atleast one or two weapon type they didnt manufacture. Like there are no Hyperion Revolvers. (That being said, i do prefer the tamer BL1 manufacturer gimmicks, BL3 got a bit excessive and some manufacturers just feel bad like Maliwan)
@@NachtDerSins not to be pedantic but *pedantic*
@@benjaminwfeitnah he cooked
AOTD: Having more gun types from manufacturers. Functionally, they would add a lot to the mix, like with Tediore snipers actually becoming javelins when empty.
Visually, there's also so much potential of wacky and cool designs. A Jakobs launcher could be a literal cannon you carry on your shoulder, Bandit/COV snipers would have broken bottles as scopes and funky bent barrels.
Also, give some guns reduced ammo consumption. Why would I use a vladov sniper when jakobs exist.
this about the be the play through of all time 🎉
It's true
I want a squid gun that shoots squids. "Squid launcher! Oh yeah!"
I really like this idea of a tediore run! also, I didn't realize you wouldn't get class mods. QOTD: I would like to see the return of the shock kill head pop from Borderlands 1, it always made me laugh but I haven't seen anything like it since.
"Chuck" Norris would be proud. Never change Joltz 😂
No joke I'm just so excited to see you use Tediore shields because I feel like I've never seen it in all these years !
and for QOTD maybe a portion of time travel? Going back to old Vault openings
Grenade mods that are based off of the manufacturer the way that guns are. Such as Maliwan grenades creating elemental puddles, Torgue giving either really big or multiple explosions, Hyperion having access to all of the high tech options, Jakobs having dynamite themed grenades and so on.
Something i really want in BL4 is light and heavy melee weapons. Light weapons would attack with your quick melee button, but heavy melees would take up a weapon slot and you'd have to switch to them.
I also want them to bring back bleed damage, and have non-elemental weapons have a chance to bleed enemies
Also also i want a turret character that allows you to place your current weapon down as a turret, and another character that dashes around real fast like (like an ex-maliwan soldier or something) :)
Gotta love it when joltz always puts out a new play through. It so exciting see him figure and play it in out, love the content he does😊
I want something where your character blows themselves up. Light the Fuse is one of my absolute favorite abilities and I would love to see something like that in BL4
YES, A TEDIORE ALLEGIANCE RUN! I hope this run goes good and hopeful he doesn’t give up on it.
Another challenge run time, yay! Tediore is a lot of fun for me personally, excited for this one!
I would love to see some melee weapons, doesnt have to be as extensive as something like Tiny Tina's, but would be neat to have like 1 or 2 legendaries from most manufacturers as melee weapons!
I know this is days old but I thought an atlas shotgun with the tracking stuff would be MADNESS that I'd love to see.
New sentient alien species. Maybe as a counter point to the Eridians. They could work as a protagonist or antagonist depending on their past relationships with the Eridians and the Vaults.
thank you joltz for this playthrough, i already know i will enjoy it so much !
Tediore snipers is such a great idea! Thanks for the great content, bro.
Wow not even gonna lie I was already watching one of your old runs when I got notified about this!!!! GODLY TIMING
Lol same😂
Small little warm up
Great start to an allegiance run. I am still waiting for torgue allegiance Salvador. I really hope that you do it. Love your channel. Keep up the amazing work.
I think a good idea could be like community made levels or missions or something, With mods we've already seen how creative the community can be so
I want to see Jacobs rocket launchers. Imagine running across pandora blasting psychos with a pirate cannon.
Man, I’ve been waiting for Tediore Allegiance.
Eternally waiting for Gaige Tedior3 myself. But this shall tide me over
I would love to meet the CEO or the creator of the Bandit manufacture in Borderlands 4, the main bandit themselves scrapping together guns from rusted metal sheets and broken glass
Man I really got to see this as soon as it released. I just want to say that I really love these videos and I'm glad you're still making these after all these years!
Jacob's rocket launches sound fun to play with would definitely meet borderlands wackiness
I involuntarily pumped my fist when I saw those words "Tediore Krieg". This is gonna be awesome
Fitting for the theme: I think a Unique or Legendary Tediore that chucks you at the enemy, when you reload, sounds hilarious. If it's doing a lot of damage but also put you in Fight For Your Life, it could actually be decent to equip it to get out of FFYL. Also, I really like the idea of bladed Tediore Weapons doing melee damage on chucks.
I had some melee weapon ideas for BL4 (since Wonderlands introduced them, I thought, "Well, probably BL4 will have them too.") and I wanted everyone to check them out.
Atlas - Boomerang looking device (could have a blade in the design) that when thrown at the enemy will mark them and will continue to hit them in flight for a certain amount of time, allowing the use of another weapon in the meanwhile, this option can be turned off. Can be used to attack/take back the device or aim.
Maliwan - elemental blade (lile a lightsaber lol) that switch between 2 elements (explosion not included).
**or**
Elemental blade that releases all elemental energy, gaining more 100% elemental damage for a short amount of time. When the effect wears off, it reduces damage by 25% and takes away elemental property, dealing normal damage until recovering elemental property. Can be used to attack or defend.
Dahl/Vladof - Gunblades that can switch between blade and firearm mode. Can be used to attack/shoot or defend/aim.
Depending on its size, it will consume different ammo types (e.g.: small = pistol; medium = assault rifle; large = sniper rifle).
Jakobs - Whips that can hit or pull (instead of defending) the enemy from medium/close distances to the player. Can be used to attack or pull.
Bandit - Buzz axes that deal normal damage, with the possibility of coming with elemental damage (explosion included) as a secondary source (does both normal and elemental damage).
Instead of defending, it gives a strong attack that can easily break the poise of shielded/defensive enemies.
Hyperion - Hand-held device that produces an electrical barrier (same technology used in Hyperion's weapon shields in BL3) that can switch between a shield or blade. Can be used to attack or defend (both blade and shield forms).
Torgue - Giant hammer [with rochet like thrusters on its back] that deals explosive damage and, instead of defending, makes an attack wave on the ground that increases damage according to the altitude at which you fall performing the action (like the groundslam in BL3).
As for the other manufacturers, i couldn't really think of anything for them.
It might be too complex in game but being able to create your own gun manufacture for every play through and it having multiple set choices of how to lead your guns wether it be elemental orientated, melee weapons, plasma guns, etc etc. As the game progresses you have side missions to increase the popularity of your weapon manufacture to be seen in vendors more often/being higher level. After completing most missions being able to fully customize your own legendary that corresponds to the path you chose like melee or plasma guns etc and being able to name it.
AOTD: I would love it if different elements were to combine and cause more chaotic damage over time. For example: an enemy that is corroded and then set on fire would combust into a huge flame damaging other enemies around it, or an enemy that is electrocuted and shot with an Torgue gun would release a small bolt of explosive lighting. These effects would obviously not deal a huge amount of damage but would cause more chaos on the battlefield which is just what Borderlands is all about!
I absolutely LOVE this idea! It reminds me of the elemental combos in Gunfire Reborn. I even thought of a few of my own:
• *Meltdown (corrosion + radiation):* a unique DOT with a slow tick rate that combines the damage modifiers of corrosion and radiation (1x against flesh, 1.2x against shields, and 1.5x against armor). When the DOT expires or the affected enemy dies (whichever comes first) it causes an explosion.
• *Annihilation (fire + cryo):* setting a frozen enemy on fire (or fully freezing a burning enemy) immediately clears both status effects and deals a moderate amount of damage. _Note: heavily inspired by the temperature shock mechanic from Deep Rock Galactic._
• *Neutralize (shock + corrosion):* the affected enemy has a 5% chance to deal 0 damage each time it hits you. If the affected enemy has an elemental weapon, it can't trigger elemental DOTs on you. _Note: "elemental weapon" is limited to guns, grenades, and spike/nova shields. It does not include other elemental attacks like a fire skag's breath or an ION loader's electric shield._
@@B_Skizzle Annihilation just sounds like when you cause flooding in someone's hull then light their ship on fire in World of Warships.
@@LilMcMoffett Could you explain what you mean by that? I don’t know anything about World of Warships.
@@B_Skizzle So, if you punch a hole in someone's ship, it'll start flooding (water damage basically). Then you light it on fire with High Explosive shells so it's burning and flooding at the same time. Contradiction damage is what I call it.
@@LilMcMoffett Ah, got it.
A talented writer's room 😂😂😂
HYPERION ROCKET LAUNCHERS WOULD BE SOOOOOO COOOOOOL!
Small rocket but fast and precise would be neat
One thing that I'd like to see in BL4 would be a character or a way that sets up traps or mines. I think it could be interesting, fun, and a funny way to deal with large groups on enemies
This man will never be tired of the game
I think having Anshin weapons would be pretty interesting. You could shoot allies to heal them, or maybe one that heals you when you damage enemies!
I remember the Black Ops 3 days when Joltz did CoD content on this channel.
Brand crossovers. Imagine how cool it'd be to find like a Vladof Hyperion gun that shoots faster and gets more accuracy, or a Maliwan Torgue gun or something
There are already legendaries like this
I approve of the starting music
Man, it's so good that you're back 😊
I think the explosive throwing axe is 100% Tediore Approved
I have a dog called joey, hes a big dog but he has an obsession with sitting on people's laps
Something wacky would be things like Tediore snipers that you mentioned! Or bladed Tediore throws applying bonus melee damage!
Honestly though, what I want most is the 'Everyone is here' treatment. Bring back every single unique/legendary/etc all rolled into one game. Eridian weapons too.
Yes, a new challenge run! I look forward to it!
i thing krig would love the idea of throwing guns at people after hes outa ammo lol
I would love to see the fun ragdolls where the enemy spazzes out and flies away
I was watching bandit Krieg this morning im happy to have something else to go to after i finish watching it again.
A Tediore sniper that fires the whole gun out of your hands when you fire.
Like the launchers.
Honestly, a good narrative would be amazing to have in bl4. Gives the game so much life, even in the small details
You brought me back by mentioning tomahawk bankshots in CoD
You remember that one snowy mountain map in Black Ops that people would just throw tomahawks off spawn to the enemy spawn and hope for a kill?
I think everyone went for that one
I don’t think it’s a wacky idea but considering it’s a looter changing into a style similar to Diablo/POE would make sense. Having a fully fleshed story that transitions to a end game system of scaling areas into massive boss fights at the end that changes with seasons.
They have the assets from 5 games of work and multiple DLCs to make a massive endgame ‘maps’ system and raid boss style fights for late endgame. They have the bases for a good FPS/MMOARPG mesh.
AOTD: I want to dolphin dive/"dive to prone". We've had enough sliding
I actually got a really cool find in my shotgun only krieg I just started. Its a bandit oberkill and it has matching grip but the parts actually get the weapon to -1.0 accuracy in vanilla. I didn't even know that could happen.
I want the Manufacturer that makes Zer0's equipment as a new manufacturer in BL4. They could be the new "precision" manufacturer since Hyperion has since shifted to a more "shields on guns" approach. Zer0tech shields could provide you with a "blink" ability that let you travel a short distance forwards, or deploy a temporary decoy or let you go invisible for a second or two (like Zer0's abilities in BL2). Also would love to see actual Stealth implemented into Borderlands
Something I would love to see in borderlands 4 is some type of shield (could be a unique) that gives you axton's turret nuke when it breaks
I want a chicken gun/rocket launcher that has only two element types: normal and fire. Normal shoots actual exploding chickens, while the fire one shoots explosive chicken nuggets
what I would really like to see in borderlands 4 is a vaulthunter that has augments he can slot into his body, a robot or cyborg of some type. So instead of the normal skilltree you can farm for augments and bodyparts. That would be insanely cool I think
I went through your old videos and I found the house plus the cods
Joltz will get to use the Cracked Sash unironically in this run
Allegiances that affect gameplay and maybe some story aspects or side missions. Say you pick Atlas as your allegiance, be able to call help from Rhys or Lorelei once in awhile, they would be able to fire tracking weapons and hit enemies behind cover. Pick Torgue, you get to partner w/ Mr Torgue and he'd have a huge AOE grenade or slow launcher as his weapon. Maybe get discounts on your allegiances' guns and get charged more for their competitors guns. If you want a neutral run, then go with Marcus and he'd hook you up with random ammo drops.
QOTD: I would love to see like a necromancy skill where any previously killed bandits or creatures you kill will reanimate and fight with you for a duration within a radius around you.
I have a feeling I will enjoy this playthrough more than usual
One thing I wanted to see back in Borderlands 4 was the weapons on the loading screen, I love talking about the weapons and their rarities
it would be cool to see if rhys would use his old cybernetics to talk to jack and accidentally bring him back some way either possesing his new cybernetics and sneakily being under cover asking new vault hunters to get parts to revive a new vualt monster where he actually succeds and lilith returns from elpis. that would be really cool
a pet midgit goliath who becomes engraged when his helmet is knocked off and start yelling and attacking eniemies. You could add aguments like have him puke green slime like the caustic golaiths
love the krieg run havent seen one in a while much hype for this one WHOOOP WHOOOPPPP
Always nice to see you uploading
I would love to see the old Maliwan sniperrifle design with their super cool reload mechanic.
Jakobs launchers, I feel like it could just be a massive revolver barrel or a harpoon gun. Anything like that would be very cool
An area where all the stuff you want at end game is in one room. I mean respecing, bank, vending machine, rerolled, etc. This is one thing that Wonderlands did well. It's just good quality of life when you need it most.
It may not be wacky but destructible environments would add more into the chaos of the wacky guns
For BL4, i imagine an Interchangeable parts system: each weapon has a % chance of having an open slot, and parts have a low % chance of spawning. The wackiness is that these world drop parts do goofy things, like shooting a bandit from your shotgun, or swapping places with the target.
YIPPIEIEEE YAYAYAYYYYYYY BEEN WAITING FOR ANOTHER KRIEG RUN!!!
Woo!
Krieg has and always be my favourite vault hunter...
Like he may not be the best one but if the technique is mastered he can be invincible :D
ATOD: Make every weapons manufacturer make every type of gun/grenade. So we can have Vladolf SMGS, Jakob Dynamites, Maliwan Assault Rifles, Torgue snipers etc.
A complete new cast of characters
i dont know if this fits with the question of the day, but i think you could expand your idea with tediore snipers to the entire range of weapons.
pistols are normal, SMGs have a further range but do less damage, shotguns stick to enemies, Assault Rifles deal more damage but have less range, snipers act as longbows, RPGs act as javelins. It would bring a lot more variety within the weapon type and would solidify it's identity a lot more
I feel like flamethrowers could be a interesting addition. They could work well with different elements and the potential for legendarys with unique abilities like different spray patterns would be fun.
i feel like they should put like "one-of-a-kind" non-usual weapons from all the manufacturers, like having just 1 jakobs rocket-laucher or smg etc but for all of them so theyre like a gimmick of some sort for a side quest or something, i feel like that could be very cool tbh
Babymaker + bloodsplosion = death to all
(p.s i love ur vids joltz keep it up man)
Jetpacks. Movement abilities. Something for each character that could help with puzzles that would be a unique way to traverse with individual characters. Take hitboxes into account, have, say Zer0 climb walls or Gaige get boosted up said wall by Deathtrap. Have their abilities work with puzzles.
I love the randomizer mod. I’d want that to be its own setting
I want to see summons in Borderlands! Imagine paying eridium for Marcus to stop by for a resupply. Moxxi distracts with a dance, or Mr Tourge calls in a bombing run on your enemies.
a higher rarity of weapon, pearl or otherwise, that has the ability to change attachments, maybe on already existing weapons, or just unique ones, it would be really cool to have weapons that can be custom built for different situations, and it would be something worth grinding to get
Return of the Bastard from Borderlands 1. One of my personal favorites from the game.
teidiore works so well with Hellborn Krieg its fun. Even without chucking the sheer firerate on tediore shotguns feels soo good
im hyped to see the blockhead be used this run, cannot wait!
I'd laugh if gearbox added an official friendly fire weapon to kill friendly NPCs
Dude for real, your voice (in conclusion your videos) are such a pleasure ❤️ the calm me down from the day and start my evening, so glad when I see a new video dropped
Thanks joltz 🤍
Question of the day: Ride a skag as a vehicle would be an interesting feature.
Gimme more strange gun projectiles to make legendaries/pearls more unique! And I mean Enter The Gungeon levels of strange: shotgun that shoots leeches, a PVC potato gun Rocket Launcher, a revolver that uses BANG! flags, soap/bubble SMG, confetti sniper by Torgue!
I love tediore shields, especially purple ones. Super fast recharge delay.
I'd want a Jackobs grenade or an assortment of manufacturers grenades that are just rocks. Since sometimes all you really need to take someone out is a rock, and it contrasts heavily against all of the futuristic weapons we have.
not sure if its waxky, but being able to holster ur weapon is something i would love in borderlands. not only being able to holster but also having some kind of heirloom like kriegs buzz axe when u holster and being able to build a melee build with ur heirloom
