    This is the best live scope ice fishing video I have seen. I really appreciate you showing the whole process of drilling the hole, locating the fish, and then getting on the school. I just picked up a live scope set up, your video has me excited to get out on the ice. That is if we ever get safe ice here in SE Michigan.

      Thank you! The ice will be in Michigan soon enough. That last warm front was a killer. Good Luck and be safe! :)

    I'm at the part where you just discovered the school of Fish (bass) lol wow said it before and I'll say it again...that is one sliiiick toy you guys get to play with nowadays!! Lol we just had couple rods, 100 holes and determination to find the school by dropping the line in one hole at a time lol 😆 😅 🤘WOOOOO

      Its amazing the tools that we have now to find and catch fish. I was introduced to ice fishing super young and it was spud/hand auger, a weight to check depth and some short stiff rods with circle reels. I only caught a cold and lost interest. I got back into it when my brother showed me the all mighty "flasher" in 2012/2013. Since then on winter days you will no longer find me at home playing video games. I'm outside on the ice playing video games in real life.

    I like your video. One suggestion that works for me is when you find them. Drill a grid around them in all directions to avoid drilling right over them. They get spooky at early ice

      That’s a good idea. Thin ice for sure has them running. A little snow cover and it’s game on!

    Awesome video. Fun to catch but smallies go back in the hole. I used to use a drill mounted auger back when it wasn’t cool... 19.2v drill. Hard to justify a $3000 finder but my you sure make it look fun. Great work!

      Same here, as you can see my super custom drill attachment lol. I use the graph more for bass fishing so it was easy to convert it over for ice and get year round use out of it.

    • @mibasscraze8084

      Thank you! If I get on a school that isn’t moving, or a day where I just want to sit down and fish I will switch it to down and change my settings for a more clear image. Otherwise I just leave it on forwards. Takes to much time to keep switching it back and forth.

    • @mibasscraze8084
      @mibasscraze8084  2 роки тому

      @@imagbaby5 yep, but the problem with auto when you are looking for fish is that it will auto change when you set the pole down in the sled. Then when you get to the next hole and drop the transducer under the ice. There is about a 10-20second lag time you have to wait for it to notice your in forward. I’m to impatient to wait for it to switch

    I Appreciate this video content! What model LS you used and how were you able to screen record it??

    • @mibasscraze8084
      @mibasscraze8084  2 роки тому

      Garmin GPSmap 1042xsv… it is not a touch screen. There are two ways to record the screen. Before I was running a go pro mounted to the front of graph. That got old because it didn’t always get the best recording. But for making videos it’s easier to match later when editing.

    • @mibasscraze8084
      @mibasscraze8084  2 роки тому

      In this video I was using the active Captin app to record. It records all the videos on my phone, then I had to go back and upload from my phone to pc for editing.

      Nice tips n tricks! Do you know if the 93SV UHD has that capability to do screen recording on livescope mode as well? That is what im really curious about.

    • @mibasscraze8084
      @mibasscraze8084  2 роки тому +1

      @@2jerchain you should be able to if you can get it to connect to the Active Captain App on a cell phone. I do not think there is a way to get them to record straight to an SD card on the unit itself. I wish there was because that would be much more convenient.

    • @mibasscraze8084

      The recordings go straight to my photos file in my phone. Most of the time the recordings are to large to share via text or messenger. You can probably cut the recording length down to a shareable size.

      @@nealn5120 It is where two of the sonar beams connect with each other. How bad they show up depends on the water you are fishing in. The water I was fishing for this video is 5ft visibility but loaded with micro bugs the fish feed on and the sonar picks that up. I can get rid of the lines in the settings but then I will also give up some of the sensitivity of the sonar return to mark fish, creating more blind spots.

      @@nealn5120 If you are getting a perfect picture, you either have perfect water conditions or are giving up some sonar return. Turning down the Gain to 65% would have helped with this but then my ability to mark the fish at a distance would have been less, also would have made it harder to see my small jig straight down. I could have set the tvg to medium for the 20 plus feet depth and it would have helped also.
