I had the similar situation on a 30k+ server, i was a super active mod, but i got demoted, and once there was a rule breaker, and i had to wait 30 minutes for a mod to take action
The most painful thing is to mod a very small server and the owner to be an actual noob and to get raided several times. And also getting into fights with the other mods if you are that bored.

my ""best"" friend actually did this in our discord server, I had to ban him for spamming. And, he started spamming in my DMs to let him into the server. THERE WERE ONLY 5 (OR LESS) PEOPLE THERE WHEN I BANNED HIM. NONE OF THEM BEING HIS FRIENDS.
If you want to ban someone because they call you a single mean word, likely in the context of a harmless joke, then you are not an asset to the server and you leaving will not be a problem in the slightest.
As a femboy, I do not suggest giving femboys mod. I also don’t suggest femboys admitting to being a femboy in larger servers. I have seen so many micros I am scarred please friends learn from my mistakes
This is why mods can only do kick people. Even then they kick someone in my server for no reason they lose my trust right away and lose the staff position
