Heading out to elk lake for the first time this weekend. If you don’t mind me asking what depths were you fishing? Can’t wait to get out there and rips some lips.
That was anywhere from 10-25 fow, good luck!!

It's cool you give lake.... ya know yet spot will not blow up.... people don't fish!..... love it
…elk lake is an enormous lake and we were sitting way offshore, so I don’t think you have to worry about any spots “blowing up”?

What plastics were you using on the dropshot? I’m usually straight tail worms but haven’t had much luck with them on elk.
Berkley maxscent Flats worms
where do you stay when your up there? Any recommendations for camping or shelter in general?
I typically stay with buddies, so I'm not very familiar with the camping in that area.
What did you fish with / bait?

Elk lake is in Elk Rapids not traverse city lol
It's in antrim County, in elk rapids or williamsburg, but definitely not traverse cit
