Today we are going to be sharing a new first look at Gears 6 technology within the all new The Cavern Unreal Engine 5 cinematic test demo created by The Coalition Studio in collaboration with Epic Games on Unreal Engine 5, giving us a first taste in to possibly what the technology will look like that The Coalition will be using in the future for the upcoming Gears 6 Unreal Engine 5 release some point in the future!

I’ve been replaying all the gears story modes in order and all i can say is that they need to bring back that scary element gears 1-2 had with a mixture of gears 3 and 4 movements. Gears 1-3 had so much detail gears 4 &5 lacked of. I encourage you guys to replay all the gears games and you will start to notice what gears 4 & 5 lacked of from the previous games.

I think they tried with Gears 5. They just dont know how to do it with the new unreal engine. I also feel like they need to borrow someone elses formula that actually works for a dark tone and scary element and just use it in Gears if they cant figure out how to do it themselves. They also need to bring back destruction elements like gears 3. The shadows and detail even look better in the older gears.
PS Coalition: if yall bring back old maps, put a twist on them. Not some copy and paste from gears 4. Foundation could've been dark with lights around like yall did rave down in gears 4.
Hopefully with the ending of Gears 5 being a repeat of E-Day, we get basically a recreation of the first few hours in the new apocalyptic land.
Gears 1-3 still hold up to this day honestly, riding around on a kite for all of gears 5 was not very fun, do not even get me started on that building the rocket bs
I'd still say gears of war 2 was my personal favourite with the worm, the story and gameplay 👌

Gears 2 was so incredible! I remember I was in highschool when it came out and it was snowing in New York! We had no school so all my friends jumped on while we played Co op campaign which was totally brand new at the time so it was incredible!!!!! Gears 3 was great too🔥

I agree with you about that I think gears 4 and 3 movement is the best
And the reasoning for that is because he gnasher in gears 5 has a wider spread than 3&4 and also slower gameplay so it would be much easier for a noob to hit a pro in gears 5 versus gears four or three where the gnasher has a more narrow strong shot which is more rewarding to a good player and makes clutches easier and more fun overall. Gears 234 are goated👌🏾

When people are talking about how great the older games were compared to this really tells you how little faith we have in this trailer

@@crxssv2316 Yeah, majority of folks chose to save JD for Marcus because they would've felt bad for him if he lost he lost his son as he already lost his dad, Dom and Anya. Although I do agree that it would be heartbreaking, I still picked Del for my playthrough. Del has been a real one since the beginning, he was always there for us throughout the *ENTIRE* campaign so I saved him, but that's my point. Imho idk why they made a choice like this, these are the main, main characters and they only be present in *2* games, seems a bit early to kill off one of them like this. Honestly would've been okay with sacrificing Fahz for them to avenge.

When I was a kid I was too scared to play Gears 1 and 2 and had to have my brother do it for me or watch creeped me out for the longest till I finally did it they need to bring it back

I still remember shitting my pants when you first fight the Berserker in GOW1. GOW1 story will always be the best. Remember when Anthony Carmine got sniped in the head?!
That was so good, just replayed Gears1 to Gears3 1 month ago. I would like to turn back time. The whole style was different, much dirtier, darker, just different. 5 and 6 is made more for the crowd or for children. 1 to 3 was something special
I talked with one of the developers of GOW1 a couple of years ago, it was a pleasure to read his point of view about the first game and how much care the team put in that game. The first berserk was hard for them to implement in that museum, she got glitched sometimes. The original idea was to have her showing up right after Kim's death, not inside the museum, but this got scratched.

Original Gearhead here. I'm with Exultz, G4 was barely nerve wracking and usually only with Horde bosses. G5 was not truly terrifying at all and all the fancy tech made the swarm, including bosses, seem like they weren't the threat they are. I guess this is what happens when feminists and whiners get put in unqualified positions. Like others, I still remember the G2 days, especially Horde, that had me on my feet. Both g4 and 5 on inconceivable barely scratch what regular normal Horde had to offer. Also, is it me or does the current Hammerburst seem weaker as time goes on? I remember the player fuss from G2 lol pushovers.

i've just passed "borthers till the end" for the first time in gears 3, it's amazing how the first trilogy (and i hope Judgment also) are so well aged!

Due to recent events, I think that the Coalition will release first Marcus Fenix Collection, then a new game; and then Gears6, and I expect all the games from this God-kissed studio, this is the best studio that justifies the name of the Unreal engine, and it is the Coalition that is in the top 3 best XBOX studios, where 343I and Turn10 are located 🥰

Gears 1-3 and also judgment have those campaigns I loved and can play over and over again I hope this one's brings that feeling back 4 and 5 didn't do it for me but I did enjoy 5 multi-player 💯

will this also be for xbox one or an exclusive for xbox series x / s? Because I've been playing gears of war since my childhood. the first 3 on xbox 360 (judgment too) and the last two on xbox One, and I can't buy a new console! :-(
Gears 6 will be a next generation game only released on Xbox Series X|S & PC. The next Gears of War games wont be releasing till atleast 2024-2025 so you have a few years to save up, I highly recommend the Xbox Series S thats what I play on.

I'm so hyped for this now. I always loved Mad World by Gary Jules in GoW1, but this tune Walls from Rival Consoles fits really well. Seems like a return to the more atmospheric set designs as well. Can't wait.

I agree that they need to bring back the Erie / scary feeling to the game that they had in Gears one and two and halfway in three I understand that it wasn't like that as much and 4 and 5 because you have so much more knowledge so it's not as weird freaky and oh my God what are these things, for those people that are like more like one and two it's hard to be more like one and two because you've already gained the knowledge and you're used to Locust you're used to Lambent aka the glowies, but it should have been reinstated and it was actually when you think about it when 4 came out it was very eerie and scary feeling but they could have definitely made it way better like it was in Gears 1 because they're introducing a totally different type of enemy they did do a decent job if you remember in Gears 4 when you go walking out initially and the lightning is going off and all that kind of crazy stuff and you keep getting glimpses of trying to remember the name of that creature who kidnapped Marcus so they did a good job with that they could have turned it up a little bit on the scary side lol for the cinematics and gameplay on four
