Ultrakill: basically Mayo% if you were allowed to switch weapons, but still not allowed to have fun. Hard as nails on account of HOW THE HELL DO YOU STAY BREATHING WHEN PARRYING ISN'T AN OPTION, AND NEITHER IS ANY FAST MOVEMENT. Doom: basically looks like regular Doom gameplay, but played by a lunatic who doesn't particularly like using any one weapon for more than, oh, five seconds or so?
I don't know why you say no fun, it's a new way to replay the game and i enjoyed the video. UK is about freedom and expression so if you want to play it as Doom 1 why not? This only proves how much freedom there is if you can immitate a style of other shooters. At least it's not the Call of Duty style lol

The DOOM playstyle is literally how my friend plays ULTRAKILL lmao, just with more of the circumcision method (Chain-sawing everything) and Conductor Nailgunning everything.
@@nasar4334 a god who got knocked out by a simple building collapsing on him? the gameplay doomslayer is almost the same as the lore accurate one. the only differences are the slayer's ability to crouch and harm enemies with regular melee attacks and flame belch. the doom eternal slayer might be able to survive in ultrakill but the 2016 one simply could not.
@@nickbubson4570 The reason I haven't changed keybinds is because I originally thought you'd need to dash to cross certain gaps in the level, however, during recording i remembered what game i was playing and that i can use explosions to give me a vertical boost. I did accidentally dash but it was during non-combat segments and it didn't save me from taking damage. Skill issue, i guess ;)
A mod and some changes to some settings would be: - Aim-assist at 100% and it only works on the Y axis. - The dash ability is changed for the usual DOOM sprint. - Pump and core-eject are separated and core-eject does double the damage. - Malicious rail-gun with no self-damage. - Pressing "use" plays Sam saying "Unf"
Ultrakill's gameplay is already kind of similar to Doom Eternal for example, just without a bunch of weapon synergies and obscure tech. Some act 1 levels would probably be pretty easily P-rankable, and by that I mean levels that aren't impossible with these rules
Great vid bro i can see good potential cz of how much effort you put into these, tbh if you want to make the video more entertaining you should probably cut some parts cz watching an entire level of ultrakill/doom without cuts or commentary is a bit boring in my opinion. Ps: you can prob just watch how other ultrakill creators edit their vid if you need ideas or smth

DooM in Ultrakill is absolutely possible, there is even a custom level for e1m1. I haven't seen utrakill fully modded in doom, though, considering what doom mods already exist, someone could definetly make it
I understand it's probably a joke, but just so you know, completing the game strictly with these rules is impossible, for example in 3-2 you are forced to slide, or in the beginning of 0-1 you need to either punch the planks or slide under them. I imagine this playthrough would be kinda boring to watch but maybe I'll try to do it
I’m so sick of people calling doom boring because it’s no ultra kill, and ultra kill being too hard because it’s not doom. Is it to much to just recognize both games for there own strengths

you can't use the fist and guns at the same time in doom, also no feedbacker so i don't accidentally parry something
