Everything you said is absolutely true. Nobody cares anymore. I have a lawn and landscape business for 28 years now and that’s why I don’t even hire anyone anymore. They don’t care and don’t respect the equipment or anything for that matter. I’ve simplified my business and only do what I can handle by myself. When I’m purchasing equipment I purchase new. It’s easier. Usually there’s some sort of promotion you can take advantage of and you skip the headaches and hassles of buying used. If I do buy used (like a truck. Won’t buy a brand new truck again) I do my research, make sure I get it fairly cheap and expect to put the money into it.
I agree. If you take care of your equipment it will take care of you. When I sell something I make sure it's in good shape if possible. Otherwise I point out every flaw with it so the buyer knows what they are getting.
Another way to check used equipment is get a hydraulic oil and oil sample kit from the manufacturer draw some and have them test it they will tell you everything you need to know about the equipment
I bought a used brush bandit 250xp and damn I've had some trouble🙃 was the only one I could find with a winch and crush cyl. It's doing alot better now. You're totally on track about used equipment and people in general. Everyone is just disrespectful to everyone and everything.
There hard to find , i found one with 850 hours on it , i jumped on it , had to put some work in it , but at least i got one now , i do my own repairs so that helps big ..
Good for you! It is a worthwhile machine but keep your tools on hand. Combination wrenches in metric and standard, as well as your 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2" socket sets. And various types of pliers. you're a mobile service tech now :)
@@easyeddystrees Thank you for responding to me. The piece of equipment that I picked up is 2023 it has the wide tracks I picked up a 40 inch bucket. The list price including tax out the door was $45,500

Man that battery cables ides for the dump trailer is genius. I'm buying one today. I've had my dump trailer die on me at the dump and it sucks.
He has the right attitude about machinery.
Great video buddy. I was starting to feel like I was the only one who still wanted to be a good person. Treat others how you want to be treated.
