Your construction route: set up a stop at Archie's along the way. Buy everything he has to supplement what you're already making. We've GOT to band together as viewers and help break you of this manual construction delivery habit of yours. Lol Also, the complete and instant destruction of Brundisium broke my SOUL. The anxiety.....
Darren, the modules in Docklands that show the hashed space requirements can have their space overlap. The piers themselves need full space, but the little ones with 1x1 buildings and 1x1 spaces you can overlap the spaces and compress it down a bit.
Love the series, Darren. Loved the previous playthrough, and totally loving this one as well. Can't wait for the 117 playthrough. Besides the silo improvement items/people, you could also opt to get the Animal Nutritionist and Enbessan Animal Nutritionist to boost dung production. Both can be used in a trade union (any session; old world, new world, you name it). I used them in a trade union on one industrial sheep farm, one industrial pig farm and one industrial cattle farm with tractor barns on all three. This made my dung production skyrocket and have more then plenty for the farms I need.
Darren, can you set up a playlist for this playthrough? There is one on the old website, but not the new one. Thanks for the inspiration to go back to building myself.
@@WhatDarrenPlaysCityBuilders Yes. When I click the link you posted, I go to the playlist on the 'old' channel What Darren Plays, with the blue logo. I am asking if you can set up a new playlist on the 'new' channel, What Darren Plays City Builders; with the red logo. If UA-cam are stinkers and won't let you because they are already playlisted on the other then don't worry about it. The new channel only has the uploads from Episode 19 listed anyway so it is not as big a deal. Also, I hope the new channel scheme works well for you.
the downgrade wasn't working I think because you were using the Upgrade Floors tool, not the normal Upgrade one. loving the wrecking ball approach to redesigning the second island!
I really enjoy you doing more permanent solutions for production! Also I'm still of the belief that using propaganda 15% boost of income is a good play since it's basically free money -> more items for "more efficient builds" ;)
Personally I only used the docklands to trade for like one and a half games I found out I prefered the challenge of figuring out a way to supply all the resources by myself
Please buy items that will bring more income from Sir Archibald while you have the money. Slots in the town hall remain empty. Also, I think it would be good to constantly check Eli and find items that increase production.
Just a suggestion but wood industry is extremely cheap, you could put a few lumber buildings on each building and spend less in maintenance then buying wood from Archie.
why don's you put canals in front of the engineers then a row of trees and then the rails.. you will have a bigger buffer zone and canals and parks/trees can be in reach of the homes.
I think you have been struggling with wood ever since you deleted half the industry. I think it is fairly cheap to get it running. Docklands to me looks very boring and tedious :/
Me when Daren uploads:

you have a very good brick trade union item, you should bring all the brick factory together and use it
5:45 ; silos are not running but i think grain is still stored inside so animals are not hungry
Just casually demolishing an entire islands production buildings 😂
Personally I only used the docklands to trade for like one and a half games

U should build a huge city in crown falls and call it swords
Not sure if I saw that correctly but it looked like you would be able to boost the Fertilizer Silo with Electricity no?
please connect the docklands to the shore! is driving me crazy.
Isn't it the farmers who fill the silos then the workers who feed them? Therefore you would have full silos and hungry animals

Tobias takes so long because he's loading and unloading hundreds of tons of goods

you also lack storage, that shouldn't be a thing now...
Oh cmon man where is the upload

32:40 ; what are the keys to destroy all selected buildings?
Hold shift

he just plopped them there and aren't even connected to the island
