Funny enough in real life, Wednesday would actually get honors for original thinking. Anyone can dissect a frog, it takes a special kind of genius to bring it too life.

How did Wednesday manage to harness all that electricity without a volt of lightning or electric eels? What’s even more puzzling is trying to classify the frogs brought back to life as either zombies or reanimated corpses.🤔🤔🤔
Reanimated corpses. To be zombies there would've had to been a virus or mutation, while reanimated corpses require being summoned back to life, which is what happened here. Hope that answers your question.
1:58-2:02 "Give my creature....LIFE!" 2:08-2:11 "LIVE! LIVE, I TELL YOU! LIVE!" I think that's the first time I have heard Wednesday Addams raise her voice
I have studied the Addams family for a long time. I have learned a few things about them. Just a friendly word of advice when it comes to them: Don't ask questions you don't wish to know the answer to. It may very well lead to answers to questions you didn't ask, and never wanted to know. The answers you seek very well might unsettle you more. Of course this is only my humble advice. Should you choose to seek answers where others fear to tread, I cannot stop you from doing so. Just be prepared for what might come. To use a famous quote "If you gaze long into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you". Of course the one who used that quote also used others I don't think I agree with so perhaps I am wrong. I probably am anyway.
You know, that frog dissection thing isn’t allowed in many schools where I’m from because it was “too graphic” and the frogs here are very rare so people think it’s better to preserve them other than dissect them
When you take a moment and realize that this cartoon location is very specific to Edward scissor hands (an old movie back in 1900’s) Where a robot named Edward lived on top a hill And a neighborhood of people down the hill. And you can guess where Adams family house is located. On top a hill. And Neighborhood down hill. Now for story plot. Addams family was really hated for looking different And In Edward Scissorhands , Edward was found strange to the people. The person that made Addams family movie of 2019 probably got inspired.
The family being considered weird and hated for looking/being different has been consistent throughout the franchise. Often it's less explicit or more toned down, but it's been there for a while. For example, one of the early episodes of the 1960's tv sitcom had the family dealing with a school faculty member who had a problem with the kids at school...partly because Wednesday got upset and disruptive at a dragon being hurt in a story they were read. Other episodes had neighbours trying to work out what was going on with them and getting scared of them, and government officials that judged them on their looks instead of their character. The house on the hill thing is just a generic spooky setting that both films deliberately use. The 90's films (coming about roughly at the same time as Edward Scissorhands, if I remember rightly) had the house be separate and at least raised, if not on a massive hil. Point is, while the creators might have noticed similar themes, it's hard to argue a direct reference on those two things when large parts of it are standard parts of the franchise. Edwards Scissorhands is a good film though, more people need to watch it.
In my first semester of high school, in 1970, we did the frog dissecting thing. It was supposed to last for two days, but the first day was Friday, so at the end of class the frogs were wrapped in wet paper towels and put in the fridge. On Monday one girl went to pin her frog down again. She got it on it's back and went to stick in a pin. She must have hit a live nerve because it started waving it's front teet at her. She screamed bloody murder and I'm ashamed to say the rest of us laughed.
@@Shanethefilmmaker Young Frankenstein correct? That was a funny movie. I would have liked to offer the doctor a bit of advice in the beginning. He said that he was interested in the preservation of life, yes? Well it seems to be that not stabbing himself in the leg with a scalpel would be more productive to that end.
