I found that Punisher stance counter was effective at staggering the two Type-0s. What was your strategy?

Very bad strategy: you received a lot of damage and relied on sheer luck to win. The only good thing going on for you here is the counter.
A good tip is casting sleep on one of the fiends so you can deal with the other.

I'm not sure I even had sleep at this point in the game unfortunately 😢 I've got counterstrike and Genji now though haha. Had I lost I would have definitely thrown on fire materia though!
