I’m new here! I really appreciate the conversation and, gosh, it’s good to know others feel the same as I do. I completely trust the Lord and the Bible is very clear about end times and we are watching it. Every thing I learn and everyone drawing together to learn gives us strength and confidence.
    Soo, blessings to you all

I still don t have the "okay go" to post my real thoughts and research about the big food and farmah .In 2016 I kept having "19" dreams until it ended up in my journals and then constant prayer life. By the beginning of 2020 I stopped talking for 3 months bc talking about anything seemed such a waste of time and energy. I put away the notepad and started started taking with people again when the "stay 🏠 " started. Because people needed encouragement, comfort, and exhortation. So, my sense of right now is that we have been given a reprieve, and more time to "get out houses in order" . Never breath a sigh of relief after a victory. Stay sober, alert and PRAY . Thank you for posting today , I was looking to hear from you bc I am always encouraged to keep going, and appreciate your gifting for content creation. Godspeed friend

I have also been called to get my house in order. I didn’t really understand it until I saw Jess’ video. I also am dealing with family issues. I have been taking care of my grandson for almost 2 years. He is 5 years old with cerebral palsy. He sure slows me down but what a beautiful blessing this little man is. I’m also “getting him in order”. As far as therapy and school etc. Our small ten year old business will be gone the end of March. I won’t be able to take him with me for whatever job I may find so I’m trying to get creative with something I can do from home. Love you and all of your videos. 😊

My grandmother use to make me collards with dumplings, tomato gravy and rice, pound cakes, homemade ice cream, and she started everything with fatback! In fact we use to catch channel cats (on cane poles) with fatback on the hook, then she would fry up the catfish fillets and make hushpuppies! Fried corn too, and it started with frying up a pound of bacon to cook the husked corn! Those were the days!!! Watching you cook brought back memories! Forgot about another good one, boiling up some boiled peanuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😎

I STRONGLY knew something was coming in 2019. I had a sense of urgency to get out of Atlanta Georgia and hurry to move to rural Oklahoma (the only state that voted red 100%of our counties 🙌🙌). It turned out to be the perfect place to be when 2020 happened. I have no doubt whatsoever that it was the Holy Spirit's prompting

Nothing political involved It just came out of nowhere. I’m walking not running into it but I am happy with my course. Thank you for sharing your story!

While listening to this video I got the sense that you are helping non-believers prepare for the coming Tribulation.
A time that you won’t see because Christ is coming for His church first. that through your witness they will be prepared…but more importantly put their faith in Christ and be saved! 🙏🏻 praying for you.

Thank you! I have felt an overwhelming instinct to get my house in order. In this case, my house still needs to be built on land we bought 900 miles away in the Midwest (we live in the desert). Three years ago I had the calling to buy land where we could grow food so we went on a search. Bought the land 2 years ago and have been working on it as much as we can but our youngest graduates high school in 3 years so I couldn't explain my urge to get the house built to my husband. Your video struck a chord. Also, several months ago I was given the pieces for my new kitchen - my mom/grandma's Hoosier cabinet, my mom's old cast iron farm sink she used in the basement with her wringer washer, a 50's gas range, and a possum belly cabinet. Thank you for all of your videos because they are really resonating with me.

I too had what I called a “ sense of urgency” in 2018 to get my house in order. Tons of work we ignored for years, dead trees, new roof, replacing rotten wood, new furnace, etc…..plus this urgency to save $, pay off debt…and I did. I followed that gut, inner voice. I believe it’s the Holy Spirit that leads us. I could have never seen this coming, but our God can.

New here. Hi! My diet has changed greatly. Im a believer, so i started praying for God to give me favor against "Babylonia" food, like Daniel. That has given me "insight" and help in making better choices. I grow food, and shop way different. Just about elminated the grocery store. My preps have been a blessing. I feel much better, nearly 60 now and looking at ways to "protect" my growing from environmental dangers. I use raised beds now, some hoop houses. Spraying from above is a real thing, I have seen it. But bottom line is; I trust God above all else. He is faithful to direct my path. God bless you and looking forward to learning from you.

That "apple cider press" looked more like a sausage press to me. You would load the washed hog casings on the tube at the bottom and turn the press to fill the casings, pinching and twisting the casing to form links.
My grandmother loaded casings onto an elk's horn and pushed the meat through with her thumbs. My parents loaded casings onto a hand held tube and pushed the meat through with a wooden plunger. The press in the antique shop would have been used for bigger production of sausages like in a small butcher shop.
Apple presses would have had a shorter pouring spout coming off a ring that would collect juice from around the entire base of the apple press. Right now the idea of ground apples mixed with ground pork in a sausage casing sounds really good. Maybe apples, onions cabbage and pork together.
Our family would make Swedish potato sausage for Christmas every year. 1/3 pork, 1/3 onion, 1/3 waxy potatoes. The ingredients would be ground by pressing all three raw ingredients through a metal plate with holes. Raw ingredients would be hand mixed and pressed into hog casings, then gently simmered until all ingredients were cooked. As the contents did not solidify, it was fun to squish the contents out with our teeth. The flavors of ginger, allspice, pepper and salt were unforgettable. The elk's horn turned to dust and the hand crank grinder went missing and it was soon replaced by a KitchenAid. I hold all the sounds and smells and images and tastes fondly in my memory.

For a single day 29 February 2020 I heard about a huge carved angel being exhibited at a beach near me and went to see it. Honestly looking back and even on the day it felt like a portent - I was unsettled anyway at the time. That angel stayed in my head! I had everything stocked up before the lockdown hit. I feel big changes ahead and have a low level unsettled feeling again. I’m not in the US so I’ve been following the flood disaster in Spain. Our weather patterns are changing.

I was racing through the shops ahead of you with my eyes!!👀🤣 I LOVE thrift shops. I have been in several lately searching for beach themed decor and table cloths to match for our "Christmas By the Sea" craft show this week. I have found LOTS of goodies for really good prices. I almost bought something similar to what you purchased once, but it was made from alot more tin, flour drawer, etc....excellent condition at a yardsale for $100, but we were on vacation and it would have been a challenge bringing it back. I did snag an awesomely large grapevine/cotton pieces wreath for $4 though.😁
I do like the idea of a stand alone sink in the kitchen...a very big deep one for washing the veggies in. I'll have to think about that. We visited the local Habitat for Humanity store to buy enough mitch/match cabinets to complete our kitchen. The prize was 2 MASSIVE corner cabinets that were so deep I could climb into them...floor to ceiling. I also have my Granny's hutch and table/chairs. We inherited my husband's Grandmother's teacup/saucer collection from England which look beautiful in the hutch along with some of my Granny's trinkets and his other Grandmother's gifts....it's their love all bundled up together for us!❤

I had a bad feeling about 2020 as soon as the clock struck midnight on New Years. I even told those around me because I'd never experienced anything like it before. It was an overwhelming feeling of dread. That feeling hasn't really gone away since. I have been concerned about what's been happening with the food industry for a while now. There's not a lot that I can eat, and even still, a lot of what I can just doesn't agree with me, and I know why, but that's a whole other thing. Here in Oregon we have really easily accessible organic produce, for a hefty price. Some of us can afford it and I don't mind taking care of the mom and pop farmers that still make a living here. Beef and lamb run wild on the eastern Oregon range. Local (within 100miles) is a thing here. We even have grains and legumes grown a few miles from my house. And wine, oh my, award winning. But most people still buy from the grocery store. My spurge is imported Japanese green tea.
Oh that needs a good clean, some oil to rehydrate the wood. Have fun.

If you listen to Joel Salatin's Beyond the Labels channel, he and Dr. Sina both said they don't want to create a Nanny State. I think they just want truth in labeling, and a change in how the government props up or incentivizes parts of the food industry like subsidies for soybeans or corn used for ethanol. When regenerative farmers are given the subsidies instead, the cost of a pasture raised chicken is gonna come down. Salatin is actually a big proponent of food choice, so I imagine all the Cheetos and Oreos and crap will still be available, but better labeled... and the public better educated. Additionally, when there is more government incentive for monocroping, you'll get monocroping. I'm hoping with changes, more people will offer wholesome foods, bringing the cost down when the supply is more plentiful. And I am a non-believer in any organized religion but I do believe in good and evil, and it was not hard to sense the evil closing in. I feel a reprieve since last Tuesday, but I think this is the calm before the storm. But weird things are happening like lab monkeys escaping in SC and 350 FEMA trucks being staged in rural Michigan and residents told not to worry, but not being told why they are there. Stay vigilant and stay frosty!

I can’t afford the tiers but I have two green houses this year to try a fall/winter greens. Sprouts are coming. I would love to grow some mushrooms in my basement or yard. Would you start the log form in winter or spring? I’m in California with not real freezing temperatures (knock on wood) and not too humid. I prep packaged products but you have inspired me to go fresh since those hurricanes. I live by a river that can flood and we also could get earthquakes. Who knows? Thanks again. My thoughts are with you and North Carolina.

What do you think will happen to our seeds? If the meat will be more expensive will the seeds do the same? Do you have a book recommendation on seed saving? I am just getting started in learning to grow and feed my family. I have a small hydroponic system inside and during the summer i grow outdoors.

I have had a calling for the last ten years, knowing change is coming, be as ready as you can, the Lord is preparing me for something, what that is i dont know, I just know that there is so much evil running the world that i can hardly stand it, makes me angry. Like the wef said you’ll own nothing, i can see it just with insurance and property taxes, if it keeps going at the same rate as the last few years i won’t be able to afford my mortgage because of insurance rate or the cars i have financed because of insurance rates. It’s a serious worry.

I have to believe and I do believe that anyone who does not fall in line with the goals of this administration without acceptable reason will be ousted. A lot was learned in the four years after 2016.

With our food, for the majority of people, if they would simply omit the preservatives for the "shelf life", (like other countries ban), that alone would be a healthy start. Lab grown 'anything' is just ethically wrong, imo. The earth provides our needs.
Since the election on Tues., I have felt like things are "too" quiet...rather "passive", compared to how the left normally operates. They don't typically go down without a fight and backlash, accusations and name calling. So, this eerie silence seems like the calm before the storm. I've heard every scenario from civil unrest, bio-weapons, cyber attacks, grid down, to predictable roadblocks to Jan 20th.
My faith just says, "Peace! Be Still, And Know That I Am God". Because I'm prepared mentally and spiritually, and my house is in order.

    PREPPING for PRICES:
So far, I have only heard Trump talk about 60% tariffs on goods from China and 20% tariffs on all other imports. Therefore, I am going to stock up on good quality olive oil and Parmesan from Italy. I will also stock up on imports like avocado oil, organic single source coffee, coconut milk, canned salmon and sardines. I will freeze some Australian lamb. And I will check the country of origin labels on everything else. Stocking up now will help defer the costs of tariffs after January.
About 15% of the total US food supply is imported. 40 to 60% of fruit is imported, depending on season, and 40% of vegetables consumed in the US are imported.
I am a little concerned about price increases caused by mass deportations of undocumented immigrants currently working in meat processing, dairy industry and produce harvesting. I remember the effect on prices and availability when meat processing plants closed temporarily during covid.
I can visualize more people starting to use aeroponics towers as a hedge against rising produce costs. I am giving greater consideration of starting an iñdoor hydroponic tower after the holidays.
And I am anxious that the antitrust price fixing lawsuit against Agri Stats be resolved soon . They have been providing price and supply quantity data to all the big meat and egg producers so that those companies can charge as much as possible or limit supply to bring prices up. It's why meat and egg prices remain high while other prices have softened.
We can't control the economy but we can control how prepared we are. Thank you for being such a realistic role model for quality, cost and availability preps.
