I wonder what pp Rafis’ 99.72% HDDT FC would be if the map was still bugged. 900? 1000? Even more?
I believe a 6 star dt/3 mod wouldn't give over 1k pp.
@@sid6645 I’m not really sure, considering sayonara-bye’s 94.96% HDDT choke was still 784. Misses can really make you lose a lot of pp.

i was at that time but didn't even realize this bug. probably the bug were patch fast before I even knew it.
The broken calculation had put this 4 star map to nearly 7 stars
(3.10 -> 4.65 -> 6.98)
(Just to understand how broken it actually was, airman is rated 7.04)

wait im confused. isn't pp calculated on how hard the map is to play instead of the star rating? or was that the old pp system
pp was always based on star rating (more of its components like speed and aim stars) + some additional measurements. And, hmm, star rating literally measures how hard a map is xd It has RATING in the name

This method of breaking pp (passing though pp recalculation twice) will never happen again. The Zan’ei SR bug had something to do with mini 1-2 stairs. That was known for years prior to it being abused in maps.

I've played the game since August 2013 and I never heard of this. Usually for these history type videos I know the whole story by being there when it happened but this was a new one for me.
