That looks absolutely fantastic I wish our local Asian market had some of these ingredients. I substitute spinich in a lot of dishes when I can't find the exact ingredient. It works.
Thank you so much. Some of these ingredients can be found in the canned section of the Asian market, like the Yanang Leaves juice. I hear you though, I have difficulty finding some of these items too, especially off season. Usually, I end up growing a lot of these veggies and herbs myself for the convenience. I hope you get to try it one day, it's so flavorful! Have a nice weekend 😊
Another wonderful video Thun. I love the location, it is so beautiful and the calming music in the background is so soothing. And of course your delicious soup looks so tempting. I look forward to your next video. Keep up the good work 👨🏼🍳😁
Thun, thank you again for posting another video!! Your channel is my favorite. I immediately watch when I see you've posted. When I watch I do some healthy, calm breathing and completely relax. I wish I could afford to send you a monetary thank you, but I honestly don't have it. I know it's not the same, but you have a lifetime viewer if that helps at all. Sending love as always from Baton Rouge!! 💙💙
This is so kind of you to say. Thank you for watching and appreciating the food from my childhood, that's more than I can ask for. I'm very thankful for your support. Have a great weekend 😊
@@ThunThunChannel you're more genuine and knowledgeable. I like learning how to gather (especially in the wild), prepare, and cook food from scratch. Cheers

What plant is that at 8:41? It has really nice foliage.
Those are staghorn sumac trees. They are just beginning to bloom their velvety red cones, which can be eaten.
What is green leaf is that
The leaf that makes up the broth of the soup is called Yanang leaves. The herbs added at the end are lemon basil and rice paddy herb.
You dont have a sink? Why wash on a bowl. It just recycles the dirt around
