This was a really great episode. I was surprised to see that he owned so many cows. He has a full fledged farm. My first world prejudice had me believing those who lived so far away couldn’t possibly have anything modern or semi self sustaining. I watch shows like this to further learn more about my African ancestors. I still don’t know what African peoples I descend from so I try to learn about them all.
As an American of African ancestry, you got ancestors from all around the Guinea Gulf (from Mauritania to Angola/Zambia). Zimbabweans are related to Congo and Angolan bantu so you're indirectly related to them too
Sonny , how can one man out do himself . With every program you are out doing yourself. I am from Zimbabwe and have never been to these places. The moment when Sunny said "just so you know, we bought Vincent a cow" That immediately brought a smile on my face!! It just made me so happy !! Thank you for that kind gesture!! Bless you!!!🙂
Do you know what I love most sometimes about these episodes is just two people sitting down, talking about their passions, eating good food and exploring each others cultures. What a gift ❤ thanks sonny and team
I know, right? And not only in Africa. As far as I know, some sort of flour mixed with water either is or used to be a staple all over the world. Like, in medieval Europe, before the advent of corn and potatoes, I am pretty sure I read somewhere that porridge made with stuff like wheat, barley, oats, etc. used to be eaten a lot by the lower classes.
I love it when you do something good for these people! That's what life is all about. For those of us who have some, we should give some and share. Bless you!

Aww this made me smile so much, Vincent is so hardworking and focused. I loved when Sonny shared the peanut butter dessert and bought him the new cow, such a generous gesture.
I hope sunny knows he is inspiring people to try new and crazy things when it comes to food. Because of him I found my love for Ethiopian and African meals. Goes to show, food has no boarders.
I have cousins in Africa. I use to visit them when I was younger. I miss Africa so much. The red dirt and grass lands are so beautiful. The people are nice too.
Zimbabwe is one of the most literate countries in Africa Of course for a man living in such a low-populated place like that would still know English. People tend to forget that Zimbabwe was colonized by the British. English is the primary language used in stuff like government, commerce, and education there. Eighty nine percent of the country can speak it fluently or at a high level.
I love the show host. So humble... Vincent, thank you for representing rural Africa so well. One day the world will understand that when IMF says Africans live on less than a dollar, what they really mean is... the oil costs less than a dollar to make fresh bread, 5 star tamarind porridge, healthy tasty fish, a well seasoned guinea fowl, at no cost. Africa is indeed the richest continent in the world.
This episode showed how little I know of Tonga culture in Zimbabwe. Great show as always. And when Vincent said "my dog can take it" he meant that dogs will eat the fish bones and its harmful to them. So usually fish bones are buried rather than being fed to the dogs. And I liked the cultural exchange of food. Thanks for cow too.

@Fix Her Also I been to Nigeria in several cities, where are endless crooks and also merciless bandits and armed groups, each bus travel from 1 city to another can be hosted with a rifle man as a guard. Danger can occur anytime, especially at nights. The time I came to Igbo land (Biafra), the igbos were showing lots of anger against other tribes especially to Yorubas and no tolerance to Hausas since their are Muslims. I was truly shocked.
This is not a food review channel. This is a cultural documentary that makes me appreciate our planet and I will support this channel till I'm an old man.
Me to sis💯
You’re forgiven lol 😂, I went to China a while back and was asked if I live with lions and elephants 🤭
How about DNA test...you will know whether you are from West or East or South Africa.
You are schooling me and just watching this was so heart warming. Again the quality of the film, the contrast , the aesthetics and the artistic intelligence is outstanding. The respect ,the kindness and love of your work and the subject you are filming is amazing . Thank you Sonny and your team . Can not wait for more. Sharing like man. I am hearing man and woman falling in love with Zimbabwe again.
Chiko?
The best parts in this video are the things Vincent did for you & you getting a cow for him, now that's something which caught our hearts I bet! ♥️👍🏻
Him giving a cow really gives me hope for humanity, bacause not many people like to give out because of greediness. I myself give out in the little way I can in Africa to.
@@jimmylondonspace6165 if we can give we should give to the needy no matter where in this world
@@Today97129 That's right, Thank you!

@@donaldmushove 😁😁 I would love to
We will make arrangements bro
This has been one of my favourite videos ever! Love seeing how a family like Vincent’s live, and the food they raise and eat.
Hope to see more like this!
This helps show how Africa has its beauties and also its advancements.
Funny how corn porridge is a staple in so many African countries.
Sonny, this is one of your TOP10 episodes EVER! Amazing job, team! Inspiring, funny and warm!
Vincent is a genuine humble man. I’d be happy to have such neighbor.
I love it when you do something good for these people! That's what life is all about. For those of us who have some, we should give some and share. Bless you!
The way he treats the guests and locals says alot about him. Really lovely person.
What a moving story! I like how Vincent is so cool with the little he has and how easy it is for him. Thanks Sonny for bring such refreshing and life-changing stories. I have watched many of your videos but this one touched my heart. Thank for buying the cow for Vincent.
Him giving a cow really gives me hope for humanity, bacause not many people like to give out because of greediness. I myself give out in the little way I can in Africa to. He is really an inspiration to a lot of people.
It's crazy to see how people can live in a smart and effective way.

This is definitely one of my favorite episodes so far! Loved getting to know the way they live and sharing your food with them but also buying them a cow 💜 please make more of these!
Humanity restored. Black or white we are all same. We all have red blood.
Sonny is the best food vlogger. The humour is just icing on the cake. Manages to make everyone smile including the audience
By far one of my favourite series. But also by far one of my most favourite videos. This video was incredibly wholesome, I even got teary at some point. Your authenticity never ceases to amaze me Sonny! Thank you and your amazing team for fighting to show authentic and rich videos such as these. Awesome! Blessings, from South Africa 🙏🏾❤️
They kicked out all the Indian and white farmers out by gun point and they don't farm there own land . Now they are at the point of fammin . Evil government don't promote this country
I am very happy with the way the Best Ever Food Review Show documents all the diverse culinary experiences from different places. I am Zimbabwean and i want to thank you for bringing out the amazing side of our nation.
wow zimbabwe has so much similarities to kenya...from the food to the language and culture.AMazing
I Think we are related
I noticed that too
Hi fellas,
Here in India (Tamil nadu state) many remote villages have same kind of culture and living which you guys are talking about...we must have had same ancestors I guess...happy to see that we all are linked some way or other...cheers
Many people have names similar to Kenyan names including languages that are linguistically similar
i was waiting for this comment once i saw the ugali😄
This is amazing i love how everthing is made from scratch. This is to show that people can live a simple life and be healthy and happy without a lot of money involve.keep up the good work
Really loving this Zimbabwe series, Vincent was a very good host. Was so delighted to know you bought Vincent another cow, that's so nice of you. Thank you for showing our Zimbabwe 🇿🇼❤️

Education in Zimbabwe must be or is at a high level, even in a remote rural area like Deka Drum, Vincent's english is really good!!!
@@emtee5232 yea everyone speaks English to be honest. So makes communication easy. We learn in English and we also have our local language so best of both worlds
@@rojamillerover I should have edited that and actually said, it's at a high level, other countries that speak English, it's mostly in the urban areas. So to hear Vincent speak really well, it put a smile on my face and proud of Madzimbabwe.
Edit: not sure what you mean by "we" nana Kazondo, i am Zimbabwean as well!!!!
This has to be one of Sonny's greatest episodes, I hope Vincent and his family gets more cows, electricity and even transportation.
I love the innocence and hospitality of this man.. There is so much to learn.. 🙂
Typical of Zimbabwean people
Zimbabwe is one of the most literate countries in Africa
Of course for a man living in such a low-populated place like that would still know English. People tend to forget that Zimbabwe was colonized by the British. English is the primary language used in stuff like government, commerce, and education there. Eighty nine percent of the country can speak it fluently or at a high level.
Thats true
r u the real kim jong-un 😂😂😂😂
speaking english doesn't makes u literate
@@ashenafilegesse4266 well to learn English you have to be able to read it …the definition of literate is the ability to read and write so 🤷🏾♀️
Thank you for making em know👍
I love the show host.
You summarised it perfectly... He is living a great life and not hurting the nature
Vincent's smile when he bit into that dessert was everything. I loved this episode and the whole Zim series.
I'm Haitian and I love Africans so much, I can't wait to visit my ancestors countries one Day ......
I love at the end when Sonny is talking about food for your heart and Vincent starts talking about reading the Bible haha.
When the Word enters your heart, it nourishes your soul.
I'm honestly impressed by the time and effort you put into these videos, keep it up! 👍💛
Thanks for the clarification I thought he meant that it was good for his dog.

Vincent is an incredible host and love that he’s doing well for himself and being self sustainable. The fact that he put God above all is what’s soo Great !
I'm from south America venezuela this house brings me memories looks like my grandparents house so beautiful 😍!!
I don't usually comment but that was a great person and a great episode. The way sunny threw the fish bone inn the fire 🔥 and got in trouble like a kid with a teacher.. had me 😆 🤣 😂
Yeah, that was so funny!
Kudos to the researcher for finding vincent. I know, you dont get enough credits - here it is, salute to you!
And we'd love if you can do more of those food exchanges. Something that they can't taste so to show as gratitude to sonny's feasting on their food.
And the best exchange to show gratitude, the cow.. it will be such a memorable gift to vincent... Keep it up sonny!
I will second all of this! I’d love to see more exchanges and gifts like the cow. Those were my two favorite parts of the episode.
Very beautiful 😍... everyone dreams of a simple life a farm and livestock... good job Sony..
I was all about to start a go fund me for Vincent, when you said you bought him another cow! This is one of the many reasons why I adore you, Sonny! Your team kicks major butt.
Also, loving this mini-series. :)
What you did by share your food , is the best thing a food lover can do , you have introduced this man to food out side his country , great .. you are the best
You brought Vincent a new cow. Just another reason why we all love the Best Ever Food Review Show. You always give back to folks. Like the time that you brought Samosas for the group of coconut workers in India. Keep up the great work.
Incredible video Sonny. I was overwhelmed in the end when u said you replaced his cow. Spreading kindness wherever you go. Just wow!
I’m so proud of your generosity and so proud to be following you on your channel!
I love that you shared a treat from your culture with Vincent, Sonny! It's also a nice gesture for you to get him and his wife a replacement cow. Been enjoying your channel for years, but this is my favorite episode by far. Thank you and your team for giving us glimpses of various foods and cultures around the world.
Oh i like Mr Vincent, he seems so kind and respectful...and very intelligent! most Zim people that i know are kind and God fearing nation! God bless Zimbabwe 🙏😇
You've exposed my country from the beautiful angle that it is. Really loving how Vincent has the typical Zimbo humor @5:38 "Buy from the store"
I love this episode! I would really like to see more of this "Food exchanges" with the natives. That way the food education goes both ways. :)
agreed this was one of the most inspiring episodes
great idea for content! adopt this right away sonny!

Zimbabwean over here, I really enjoyed watching this episode. hopefully you enjoyed making it as much as I enjoyed watching. Vincent is such a humble and kind soul, I would not mind also spending the day shadowing him. He could make such a cool cultural tourism guide, hope someone guides him towards that route.
True that about him being a cultural guide my dude. I'd pay him at least $20USD to spend a few hours learning from & about him & his daily life. Seems like a really interesting guy who has an amazing air of contentment about him. Seems like you have a nice country. Are things getting better for the people now that Mugabe is gone?
14:33 He so humble. It's nice of you to gifted him a new cow.
Love this, as a Zimbabwean living in Minnesota this got me smiling. Keep it up
I've never met someone from Zim in the US. Do you have a big community in MN? I had some friends in the UK and Ireland and I loved hanging out with them.
I really enjoyed this video! Vincent was so precious, warm and welcoming. You're right. He makes this life looks easy. Thank you for sharing things. And I'm really happy you guys bought him a cow

Best African man I ever watched . good environment good food .& also good smile in his face I loved it love from India.
The smile on Vincent’s face when he took a bite on that peanutbutter bar …priceless! ☺️🥰🥺
I have loved every person i have met from Africa, i have had the pleasure of meeting people from The Gambia and Ghana, truly nice people!
Sonny, you truly are an amazing ambassador to humankind. It's clear that you don't always love the things you eat, but you try Everything and are so humble about the whole experience. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. Sometimes you eat a pepper so hot you probably almost definitely s#!t your pants on camera. And then sometimes you pay it forward with a cow to a man who just lost his. Please never stop being you 😄
Love that you bought him a new cow!! That's so awesome Sonny!! You probably gave him back close to a years worth of income doing so! That was really kind, generous and amazing of you
Vincent is an awesome guy. Real survivor of the land. Like how they use the chickens to raise the guineas. Pretty cool. Caught and prepared some nice fish. Was fun to watch. Great video
I loved the co-host of this episode. The man was my type of dude. Everything about him was awesome. I'm so glad you guys bought him a cow! He deserved it.
