Thanks for this! I plan on making this using your templates, it will be my first foam build. I'm a long time model builder/painter, and I have a feeling I'm going to get hooked on cosplay builds!

Love these. Make more. ;) And thank you for the tip about bending your foam to dremel the center. That part can be tricky. Anyways I haven't played enough of Destiny 2 to really comment on what you should build next, but it would be fun to see a larger weapon. Maybe Vigilance Wing, Graviton Lance, or Coldheart.

I would love to get a template of a Bruteshot. I just love that weapon and much more so if I had a way to build it with my own two hands.
I can also practice with the Traveler's Chosen for practice.

Looking good! I'd scale the blueprint down a bit to have it be a little smaller but otherwise it's a job well done!
Just kidding. I am not like that. This video is awesome, and I may end up even making one for myself. I have been so hyped for Destiny 2, and haven't been able to play it as I haven't been home. I am super pumped to actually play it.
If you can, try to build the Tex Mechanica Grenade launcher. That would look amazing, seeing the work yall do.

Can you guys do one of these for the destiny 2 "quickfang" sword. It's the hunter's end game legendary sword that is received for completing the campaign from Cayde-6

I know this was 2 years ago but I have a few questions 1 do you need to Bevel and drumel it 2 can you use a glue gun
Really cool! The gun looks awesome! This makes me want to give prop-making a shot.
I'm wondering about that silver paint though. I understand that it's suppose to weather the gun and make it look like the paint was rubbed off, but it seems to reveal the foam texture a little too much. I don't know, it's hard to tell from the video. That was just my thought.
The silver should just be on the edges... the most difficult step to cover the foam texture is going to be your plasti-dip and paint color options.

I had look at template it says it is free but asks to add a fair price to it 😓 is it meant to do that
What size foam did you guys use?
We used the 3/8 inch foam from wesellmats.com/freakinrad - also some thinner craft foam that was 3mm.

Is it a handcannon or sidearm
we haven't had a chance to play the new game so we aren't entirely sure, my guess is its a sidearm. we only just learned the name of the gun after making it. maybe someone who has played can let us know here.
Crafty Gamers It's a kinetic sidearm, I do hope there will be a legendary/exotic version of it eventually as the original is busted up now:/
