Oh darn, my keyboard dooesn’t pop. Out the keys are under the top. I have opened the top and replaced fans and wanted to replace the keyboard but there is so much stuff under the lid…??? I am 74 and had a stroke so i need easy and slow instructions. Your instructions on the pop off keyboard was great and I could follow along.
@@uFixTek It's not going to matter, thank you so much for getting back to me but I've realized. I can just order a keyboard and use a USB or Wi-Fi. Or something like that and use it as a portable keyboard. I don't have to go nuts, but thank you, thank you.

Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P regarding your question: its very common issue and its because the membrane is made of plastic and with the heat that get from motherboard it starts failing a lot. there is nothing you can do except replace the keyboard my friend.

🫠Regarding your question, if your keyboard is a mesh keyboard then you will need to remove the entire motherboard and it requires a bit of work, for eg look at this video. ua-cam.com/video/gmOVtgHf_1Y/v-deo.html

Not every dell keyoard works this way: mine is totally different
