Beautiful, congratulations ❤
I can imagine these being used as placeholders at a dinner party, birthday, or even a wedding- such a good idea!
Great idea! - and they'd make nice little parting gifts to take home!
Impressive Laura 🙏🥰
Love it
These look incredible
Such a great idea for shells and papers. I'll have to try it with my deco papers.
For the heavier weight papers you can sometimes pull apart the layers to make it not so stiff.
The deeper shells would make beautiful bezels for shadowbox charms with bits of ephemera then filled with resin.
Thanks for sharing. This is a "must try" for me.
Good idea about the heavier papers!
Any tips on how to prevent creasing? Also can you use wrapping paper?
Maybe try using a larger sized paintbrush or foam brush if that helps to get rid of creases - also the thickness of the paper you are using might have to do with that. As for wrapping paper, you can try it out and let us know how it works, I haven't tried it!
These are beautiful! I'm wondering if you have any suggestion for, as you mentioned, making it into an ornament, or maybe stringing them as a garland. Thank you for showing everyone how to do this!
I would try using a high-strength adhesive at the "hinge" part of the shell to glue a string or ribbon - I'd probably try E6000 adhesive.
@@LauraBethLove thank you. I will take your advice 😊
A gold paint pen is a good investment. I remove the nib and refill mine
Yes I use those for stained glass! ...And you must have the patience of a saint!

Lol, rather than patience I have a syringe barrel that I use to transfer the paint into the pen barrel. Quick, simple and minimal cleanup that way.
