Just love this reaction. The vast majority of reactors on this have never heard of Fred Again and so it was really nice to experience the reaction of someone who is a big fan. Cheers.
I got so excited about this reaction! Most reactors know little if anything about Fred Again. Hearing you're a big fan, I knew you'd get how amazing Ren's arrangements and transitions are. At the very end of his last line before the camera pans away, look down at Ren's right hand as he places it on his knee. He's visibly shaking he's so full of deep emotion. I read that Ren heard that last song while in a large crowd and broke down sobbing cuz he felt the pain so strongly. I never tire of Ren's songs and videos, but I this one in particular deeply moves me. I concur with the suggestions of Ren's 'Back on 74/Message in a Bottle" Retake. Phenomenal and so fun! You'll be pleasantly surprised and delighted, I'm sure! 🙋♀️💖
I think the way he's able to channel his emotions into a song is a superpower that really shows up in this track. You can always tell when someone truly feels something on a track, and it connects that much better. It's also what's nice about recording it live. That emotion shines in that environment
Welcome back to the Ren rabbit hole! You’ve been missed ❤ I don’t know the original songs, but I am here for anything Ren does and this was beautiful. The artistry to take EDM tracks and make a mashup so emotional is incredible. Ren has music in his soul and pours so much soul into music and every performance 🖤🐰🕳️ Also for more emotional singing, please check out one of my personal favourites: Crutch feat. Bibi. It’s an older song from before Ren was finally correctly diagnosed with Lyme disease and was written after a breakdown following multiple emergency trips to the hospital. It is heart wrenching and stunning. Also Crutch is very different from everything else in his catalogue and so so special. It deserves way more attention than it’s getting 🖤
This is one of my new favourites from Ren. The last 4 songs he has released have really shown his talent and versatility as an artist. Loved your reaction 💜💜
Love this Rendition . Saw the BTS of his mixing here. Facinating. He really loves mixing and producing and is very meticulous. Love your reaction. Today is his 34th birthday. Yestetday put out a piano instrumental tribute to one of friends who passed in 2011. It was filmed in Canada in June but held for his friends birthday.
I think it’s incredible how he seamlessly blended 5 different Fred again EDM tracks into such an emotionally charged acoustic performance. The final “Ive been lost” section hit even harder as he looked out at the Calgary skyline, so far from home, where he’s been for over a year as he gets medical treatment. You should also check out his “Back on 74 / Message in a Bottle” retake. Completely different style, but performed brilliantly. His vocals have such a broad stylistic range.
You really need to give Ren's rendition of 'Fly Me to the Moon'.. it's a fun little quick bit he jokingly performed on his Twitch stream last year..with a special 'twist' all his own, lol. But boy, oh boy, does he do 'il blue eyes justice. You'll find that if you traverse father down the rabbit hole there are three vocal 'signatures' that one can tell have heavily influenced Ren is his own vocal stylings..Bob Marley, Sting, and Frank Sinatra. If you'd like to hear a taste for yourself, may I recommend Marley: The Big Push, 'I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop Sting: 'Back on 74/Message In A Bottle' Sinatra: 'Fly Me To the Moon' Ren Karaoke edition
You said you like Fred Again's music, but you didn't say anything about Ren's rendition of Fred"s tunes. We"d like your insight into how you feel Ren interpreted this mash up. Thanks for reacting to Ren's music again.
Cannot wait for you to check out Back on 74. You’re going to absolutely love it
Yes! Came here to say the same thing. You’ll love it Charlie
So hard to believe REN is creating while receiving treatment in Canada. His love for music is unparalleled
To be fair that’s probably the one thing keeping him from going nuts!
Nice one, this performance really hit some emotions I have to say.
Love your reactions 😎

A virtuoso live performance by Ren!

Loved this but check out Back on 74/Message in a bottle, Ren is the gift that keeps on giving, thanks for your reaction ❤
I like your discussion about the vocals bringing out emotional content and the playing style being raw, like the emotions. Nice summary.
Love this raw Ren shows how good he is, gives me chills, thank you for showing your appreciation ❤ 🏴

Ren is a musical genius just incedible...love his music....thanks great reaction👍
Liking cause you said 'Janky' :)
Only ren can take a beat drop in an edm song and translate it to an acoustic version flawlessly. 😂 hes just so good. 💜💜
Thank you for a very interesting analysis.👍💕🦇
New to your channel. Great reaction to one of the best musicians alive
🔥❤ #ren 🖤🔥

REN creates world onion shortage! We are all out there chopping away! 😢❤️ it 🇦🇺👍🏻
Do the video stand tall by social repose

It seemed pretty clear that Ren's version was appreciated.
Agreed, especially since a lot of reactors haven’t been familiar with Fred again. Would have loved to hear more from that perspective.
✔✔👍👍
You start out by saying “what’s good planet earth”. I am not 🌏
But I was addressing planet earth and not just you....
