- Welcome to the next video of my ERF Restoration! I am cracking on with getting some shiney bits on, I get my Airhorns on the roof which I've had in the shed for years, piped them up using a pull cord valve since I have the train horns on the button and roof Airhorns on the cord! I managed to fix my bed headliner too so it doesn't sag and fall down anymore like most ERF head liners do. Because the video is coming out so behind schedule it's even part of my Truckfest Northeast prep!

Another fantastic video mate, thank you very much! That headliner looks soooo much better. It’s rare to see an old ERF that doesn’t have a sagging roof liner. I think your idea of retrimming the ceiling panels with the same material as your floor mats would look amazing & break up the grey nicely 👌

In regards to the foot brake valve plumbing problem you mentioned, my Dad knew of an owner driver who did just as you said. He blew the horn & locked up the brakes!!! 🙈

Cheers for all the feedback matey! With the headliner fixed it just looks so much tidier doesn't it! I think a Brown and grey would be nice and tidy, cheers it's Kimmy by the way probably my accent making it sound funny 😂 we just chilled at home and watch a film, can't wait for the next show now, but F7 getting the love at the minute since she's in for MOT in a couple weeks
@@ThePhilBilly Oh I’m so sorry mate & Kimmy!! Don’t worry mate, I’m sure you’d be the same with my Bristolian accent! 🙈 Yes, it looks tonnes better mate. I grew up around ERF’s as my Dad worked for George Taylor Transport in Bristol (If you google them you’ll see) They had AEC’s, Mandators, Leyland Roadtrains, Seddon Atkinsons before having a fleet of ERF’s. From B series, to C series, to E series to EC series to the final ECX series. Unfortunately when ERF’s stopped being manufactured they then turned to Scania’s & Volvo’s before Taylor’s left the transport industry in 2010 after a 100+ years 😢 Their trucks were absolutely immaculate inside & out!!! Yes, the brown & grey would look superb!! 👌 Fair play to you mate, you are a true grafter!! Bathroom all done now buddy? I bet it looks stunning mate, knowing how you work! @@wayne3790 oh aye I wish ERF kept on, I have to admit the new stuff is lovely to drive too, bathroom is nearly there but not quite! Ceiling panels are getting delivered this week so that's the weekends job I think, new spotlights, ceiling panels and might even get the door fitted 😂

Fibreglass cab so no need to worry about rust 👌 Yes, totally agree, but trucks have no character anymore, they all look & sound very similar 😢 I LOVE ERF’s 😍 Wow, you’re going to be very busy mate, well I support you’re used to it. She's getting there slow and steady! Be getting the F7 possibly in the next week or so, videos hopefully should be far behind. I just need to get caught up on my videos
